Hey, Red... sorry that whatever's happening is happening. Here's some dialogue between two characters from a cartoon that might help:

I didn't want to hurt anyone! I'm sorry! None of them would let me help them. I had no choice!
It's okay!
No! It's not!
But it's okay to think about it!
It feels so bad!
That's okay too! There was nothing else you could have done.
I don't want to feel this way.
You have to! You have to be honest about how bad it feels so you can move on. That's how it was for me.
... Okay.

Basically what I mean is... don't just try to suppress those memories. It IS okay to think about it. Keeping it hidden from your own conscience and pretending it never happened is just lying to yourself. And I'm sure you don't like being lied to.

Whatever it was that happened - even if it's hard to think about - you might need to let yourself think about it from time to time. If you feel comfortable, I'd recommend talking about it with people you trust and asking them for help. If you'd prefer, you could seek professional help.

Just don't do anything drastic. I'm glad you asked for help. <3

Hey Red, I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like that’s going on in your life right now. Just know depending on the situation with having a positive attitude on things it will get better. I know that sounds cheesy but it can be true. Also I just wanted to let you know that it’s ok to cry and be upset. Somethings I do to help me is art, sleeping, and personally for me is talking with my online friends. This may not work for everyone but when I’m down sometimes I like to go on PZ and talk with my friends.

Hopefully this helps, if not just know you’re not alone.

Hi Red, I'm sorry that bad stuff is happening in your life, but just know it'll get better.

Something that helps me when I'm going through rough stuff is to just look at the positive and best-case scenario of things. If you have the mindset that everything will be alright and you'll make it through whatever it is you're going through, you will!

I also draw, listen to uplifting beats, surround myself with positivity and close friends and family, and talk to friends. It keeps my mind off of everything wrong going on.

You're really brave for actually asking for help instead of being quiet and letting it consume you.

Just know that if you ever need anything or want to talk, I'm here for you and I always will be. <3

When I’m angry or sad I usually take cliché long showers or play the piano in berserk mode. Playing piano really fast even with mistakes is like I’m ranting to my piano and getting all my emotions out. Also having good friends also helps when you want to talk to them. I’m so sorry that you’re feeling this way and I really hope that your circumstances will get better... ❤️

Whenever I've experienced something that made me angry or sad, I first normally leave a day to process the information and what's going on. It helps me organize my thoughts better, so I'm not a complete emotional wreck. Surrounding yourself with close friends and family members works for me too, while it usually helps distract from the problem at hand, don't hesitate to talk about it with a close friend or a family member. As Emviar said, don't lie to yourself. Keeping your emotions bottled up forever won't help. If you have a hobby you love, invest time into that (such as drawing, playing the piano, things like that). Even the small things can help, such as smiling at yourself in the mirror. It's a small thing, but I've found it helps a lot. If you ever need to talk, I'm always here. I hope you feel better soon.

Hiya, Red. Sorry ya feel like this, kiddo, but here are a few things I like to do when I'm bout ready to cry my eyes out or I'm just feeling stressed.

I always delve into a book if I have one. I take the character's emotions and I think of them as my own and think about what the character must be going through instead of all the stress I'm facing. Sometimes I'll put myself in the character's shoes and think about how hard their life is-- fighting demons and immortal queens, putting the world back together piece by piece no matter the cost. Then I return to reality and think about how easy I have it. It takes a load off all the stress. Sometimes I'll sort through my books and recall the events just to test my memory. Sometimes I'll think about the amazing moments where the characters are happy and think that if they can do that, then once I get through this, I will find that happiness, too. I think about the day where I can sit outside on a bench on a porch while it's raining with a nice fuzzy blanket and read while the sky falls around me. Sometimes I read poetry and find the different meanings of each stanza and phrase. Sometimes I think about what those stanzas mean to me and what they mean to the author. Same thing with music. Sometimes I'll even think of music as poetry. Sometimes I listen to the rain on the rainy days. The pitter-patter of the raindrops is like the world ranting. I'll think about a future that I know I can live with and make my own as long as I work for it. It's a lovely feeling, really. The thought of happiness. As long as you have the want for happiness and are willing to do what you can to sustain that wanting, then you can do what your heart desires. The lovely thoughts keep me going, Red. Let the lovely thoughts fuel your heart.

Red, if your going through a tough time and just feel really depressed you can count on your family and friends irl and on forums to help you get through it! I have long lasting depression, but even though its tough for me I want to help others with what I have learned. Just know you'll NEVER be alone, sometimes it may feel like no one cares or that no one is listening to your cries. But, I am. I'm always going to be here for those in need. And everything I said doesn't just apply to Red, it applies to everyone who is willing to read this and understand I am here! I won't leave you in the dust or make you cry! I'll help you feel joy no matter what it costs me! Remember that you should always be yourself and NEVER EVER change (unless your going through puberty <3)
