hi so
question
if the hypotenuse side is always the longest one
what if it isnt?
is that possible?
because like
what if the opposite side is
or the adjacent is
or is it just always the side opposite to the adjacent side
and also
how do i remember sohcahtoa
ugh

btw i'm not even supposed to know this yet so go easy on me this is two grades above me

It is impossible to have an opposite or ajacent side longer than the hypotenuse. If you think of it visually, just for one of the sides to be equal to the hypotenuse it would have to be a line. Any other way of making it and it wont be a right triangle, which is what it needs to be for there to be a hypotenuse, in that regard at least (throwing that last part in there before some ap calc 674 student comes in here and talks some crazy stuff about triangles). Also for sohcahtoa. Its a saying that you'll hear a lot, so over time you'll get used to it. And once you know what they stand for, you can use them whenever you need to. Good luck being ahead in math ;p
