It seems like that most of the shaders I use have now has been making every block black for me, but when I turn off shaders its fine, some shaders work, I'm on a MAC editing the files will not work, can someone tell me how to fix the problem?

I meant like my shaderpacks worked before but now they broke...Try installing another shaders. Some of them are messed up
Hmm...I meant like my shaderpacks worked before but now they broke...
Still doesn't workHmm...
If your shader pack is an easily installed one, re-install, if it's not, move the shader to desktop, then move it back to mods. I hope I hwlped
Weird... I will experiment when I get back home and see if i can come up with a solution for you @HeemasaurusStill doesn't work
Yeah, the shaderpack just seemed to not fix, I can't run SEUS shaders, what do you use for your settings in shaders? I think if I edit my settings it could work.I have a Shaders profile that I use when I want to take beautiful screenshots, etc.
Before that, I had tons of problems and I never could download it aswell. I also use Mac.
Obviously this is not gonna help you, but alright. You download it correctly, but the blocks are appearing black, that's it? As Pitsa Bae said, try different shaders. You need Forge and move it to the Mods folder. http://minecraftsix.com/glsl-shaders-mod/ This is a site where you can find a tutorial on "How do I download" and some other informations. I use Sonic Ether's Unbelieveable Shaders. I like it pretty much. But you have your opinion.
You put/copy the .zip file to the mods folder.
What I did to get my shaders: I got to http://minecraftsix.com/glsl-shaders-mod/ and downloaded the file ShadersMod-v2.4.12mc1.8.jar.
Moved it to mods, that's what I think it says to do. You can read with attention the tutorial written in there. Then I went to Sonic Ether's Unbelieveable Shaders (SEUS) (http://minecraftsix.com/sonic-ethers-unbelievable-shaders-mod/). I scrolled down and found a link called SEUS v.10.2 Preview 1 Ultra. You can also download others, that one is in still in Beta. It sends you to http://q.gs/8AnA8. It will redirect you to adf.ly. You just wait the 5 seconds, ignoring the ad it shows you. Then you click "Skip ad", check the EULA thing it says and then download it. That will make a .zip file. You drag the .zip file to the mods folder, with the .jar file too. I don't know if it is this what you need to do.
Obviously this didn't help you, because you already knew it. That's just how I did on my Mac and it worked. Aswell I need to update my version now.
Ow I'm sorry! I'm using MrMeepz Shaders, not Sonic Ether's. This is how my Shaders Options look like: http://imgur.com/Oc5iIGjYeah, the shaderpack just seemed to not fix, I can't run SEUS shaders, what do you use for your settings in shaders? I think if I edit my settings it could work.
OMG IM SO RETARDED I WAS PUTTING IT IN THE RESOURCE PACKS FOLDER. TEODOR YOUR A GENIUSOw I'm sorry! I'm using MrMeepz Shaders, not Sonic Ether's. This is how my Shaders Options look like: http://imgur.com/Oc5iIGj
And this is how my Shaders folder look like: http://imgur.com/vJXDewh
IMPORTANT: You need to put the .zip file of the shaders and the shaders folder in Application Support/minecraft/shaderpacks folder. The shaderpacks folder should automatically have been generated when you firstly downloaded Minecraft. I think that's the problem that you can't run shaders. As it appears in my second image.

It is compatibleMake sure the shader pack is compatible with 1.8.
Also, I think some shader packs are incompatible with Intel Graphics. This means it will pretty much not work with any Macs. I recommend getting a different graphics card.
I just checked, and this is what it said under SEUS's shader pack.It is compatible
hey can someone help me with fps
Btw with the LATEST optimise shaders is built inI want to use Shaders via Optifine but after 2 hours of me tryin really hard to actually get it to work, I gave up... xD (Mac User BTW)
