Some BK Knowledge: The lantern is one consumes souls(and is based off of the lantern Thresh uses in League of Legends) and is consuming the soul of a pig by stretching out its "smoke arms" and pulling it into the lantern.

Note- Never once was anyone added to my plot. Nor was worldedit used. The night-time look was from me filling in the entire plot size from 256 blocks up. :D
