Bruh_ItzWolfy's Question

Question
Can you prohibit lava blocks on creative? And prevent spamming of blocks broken. It'll be a big help for creative!

I noticed this and immediately came up with this: Instead of allowing everyone that is added to the plot to place lava and other things that can cause mass havoc we could create a command "/plot admin <username>" which will only let plot admins place lava and other things to use on the plot. I believe this would be a solution to the question. Let me know what you think.

I agree completely. This should definitely be implemented.

This would be an excellent idea to prevent griefs from happening. +1 From me. Really hope this gets implemented.

Well to be honest you can grief with any building block. Just spam the blocks everywhere without given permission and boom, grief. Lava is one of the things that I feel like is common for griefing because it spreads. -1

Would you rather have a bunch of blocks placed that you remove with the left click button or would you rather have lava that takes a while to remove? /plot admin would be useful in a way just in case if you don't want people that you have added to place lava or water, hey, there could be an option to add/remove blocks and stuff that they can't place or can place

I like the idea but the thing is I think there should be a menu whenever you go to add someone to your plot where you can give them certain build permissions like building with lava but if you don't want people building with lava like in a role play for example just deactivate that option. I think this would be more helpful instead of making a command that only lets you build with lava and water. I think this you can limit certain building or destroying features with just a menu to activate or deactivate one of the things with a click.

This is a good suggestion, but it wouldn't stop griefers/griefing as you can grief from just block placement and block breaking. I could understand adding this if there was no way to fix griefs, but staff can find out who griefed and easily roll back/fix it and all you have to do is /report create. Griefing shouldn't even happen as you should only add players who you trust to your plot.

I love this suggestion! It would cut grief down quite a bit. There would still be block breaking grief, but it would be much easier to fix if there wasn't lava spewed everywhere. If this does get implemented, I think it should also prohibit placing water unless given plot administration powers.

Adding a little on, if you have an open plot, you still have to /plot admin (user/*) for them to place flowing blocks.

Agreed

You could also make a command where you can disable players from breaking blocks? That could also reduce block breaking griefs.
Anyway, good suggestion.

I dont mean certain blocks though, I just mean can't break any blocks in general.

This may help, and as an add on to the /plot admin command (as you may have seen this used in Amandq's post) there could be a /plot admin * (like /plot remove *) if you want to allow everyone (added to the plot) to place flowing blocks at your own risk for maybe, building. However what would be the remove admin command for /plot admin?
But overall, great idea! :D +1
