Forums Goodbye Section

Usually when you go into the Off Topic section you can see people making threads about leaving for a while or permanently. Now Off Topic is for things irrelevant to PartyZone. Leaving MCPZ is relevant to PartyZone in multiple ways and just like Introducing yourself to the community, you are declaring your absence from the community. I didn't make such a strong point but it would be nice to add at least a section for people who want to make it known that they are leaving. If this was implemented I would suggest bringing all the threads related to leaving into this new section.

As much as it is relevant to PartyZone, I feel that having a Goodbye Section glorifies the fact that people are leaving the server, and leaving isn't something I'd think they'd like to encourage.

Yah I'm agreeing with Desert on this. It may cause some hate, sadness, and It may promote leaving the server.

However, these things are already being posted constantly in the Off Topic section yet it doesn't necessarily encourage leaving as you all pointed out with a Goodbye Section. Always take into consideration people's personal lives and maybe they can understand what they should do by taking a break from the server instead of keeping them in (not promoting this of course). Stress, for example, is not dealt with games and should be dealt with your guardian(s). This could go either way, supporting people's lives or promoting leaving the server. But feel free to find weak spots in this as it's not easy to cover up all of it.

Maybe make the introduction section into introductions / farewells.because I feel that he's not trying to say it's promoting people to leave the server. It's giving everyone a chance to post how they feel and if they feel like taking a break or leaving the server. You can't make peoples minds up and even if this section isn't created, people are going to post farewells no matter what, so why not finally give them an area where they can post them?

But I feel like if we did end up adding it , it would be a good idea to add. Even if people think it's "detouring" people and "promoting" to people they can leave, well I mean, they can? So it's just giving them an area to write how they feel and express their reasons for leaving and/or give their friends a chance to say their farewells. Not adding this section to the forums feels like people are trying to hide the fact that people can/are leaving a server everyday. But for every person who leaves, most of the time, there's lways a new face looking for a new home. You may be losing one friend from the server but there are many more on the server ready to say hello and start blossoming some beautiful friendships.
