"Before Time, many believe our world was surrounded by darkness, and fear. Little of world was safe, and many people were enslaved to the complete darkness. Darkness, which isolated all the hope which, they once contained. They say, the only source of light in the world, which brought hope to the land, was a small, stained glass rock. The rock contained bright colours, which glowed when people came near. Few have seen the gem, but those who did, returned with hope, and a prophecy that could end the worlds darkness. They said the gem glowed unnatural colours, colours our world was yet too see, inspirations yet too come. The gem was what was left of us.
Many attempted to retrieve the gem, each failing. The gem could only be found when it wanted too be. When it was discovered, word soon spread around the country, and the person who found the gem, was immediately a new target, a target they always caught.
The life on earth was utterly miserable. The only thing keeping people alive, was knowing, the gem was in existence. Unfortunately that phase was coming too an end. Darkness was beginning to take over all. That was until the gem was sighted again, and this time, they would get away.
Six small children, by the name of Maria, Vicki, Claire, Daniel, Reuben and Conor, came across the mystery gem, each as curious as the other. The gem glowed, matching their aura. These six were the beginning of eternal light. A light which is hope to never die out.
When the six small children came across the wonderous gem, they kept quiet. They were startled by what they had found deel into the darkness. A light which told a prophecy which would create their darkness and free others into light. A prophecy they did not want to complete.
Few years passed, and the six children begun to mature. Unfortunately not all secrets can be kept forever, and Reuben passed on the secret to a friend, he thought he could trust. A secret which immediately spread, forcing the six, to come out, from hiding.
You see, these six always knew they were different, there was something off about them. They weren't exactly normal. Yes they looked normal, they seemed normal. But it was what they could do, that wasn't normal. You see, the six had abilities most humans wouldn't be able to adapt to, or control, or even have. Something flicked inside of them, triggering such a bolt. A evolution which is still adapting. An evolution people use many names for. Names such as, mutants, superhumans, demigods and even more bizarre names, all referring to this one evolution.
Most people feared the six at first, after all. The six were astonished, quickly angered, but ran away once again, hoping never to be found again.
Another year past, and the time of the dead came to pass, Claires birthday. The day everything would go wrong. Claire had been awaiting her 13th birthday for some time, in worry and fear. As she knew today, was the time of the prophecy.
On the day, Claire begun preparing herself, and the other five, her only true friends. The people who were like her. People who understood. She was alone other wise. Suddenly Claire had an idea, to find the gem and cha ge the prophecy by destorying. The other five were nervouse but agreed.
It took hours, but they did find the gem. They were ready to destory it, but the hope beaming from the stained glassy rock, stopped them. They stared into the stone, to find a new piece of a puzzle. The six were Absoloute stunned. But of course, the moment had been ruined by a force of darkness. The controller of this fear.
Vortex made a uncomfortable appearence into the cave, after following the six. The six felt already, that they'd lost. Vortex was supposedly the god of fear, in olden times, controlloing and bending peoples fear to his will. The six, were cold, uncertain of what to do, cold, and fearful. Fear clouded the sixs vision.
Suddenly, even though the six lost all hope in the moment, the gem begun to glow an unnatural colour, a colour undescribale. A colour unknown to humans eyes in this day. The gem was suddenly begun to make noises, untila light, angelic voice, echoed throughout the world, bringing hope. The six exchanged final looks, toughining up. Ready for fate. The prophecy foretold, six powerful beings, by the age of 12 and 13 may end enternal darkness, leaving little left in the world, but only if they're willing to sacrifice all they know for it.
The six knew what they had to do. Claire immediately pounced, going for the gem behind her. Vortex made a shriek sound that stopped Claire. She looked back to see man in all black, and no face. She looked back immediately and smashed the gem on the floor. Vortex and the other five shouted, but Claire picked up six different pieces, each was a different colour. The other five looked at her. They knew what she was doing know. Claire watched as Maria begun to cry, and ran over to hug her. Claire begun tearing up, and threw the pieces at the other five, keeping one for herself. She knew the world was relying on them, and that it was better off this way. She yelled to th five, in an angry tone.
Suddenly the pieces of the gem illuminated, and the six were pulled up close together by unrecognisable force. A force which brought the gem back together. Vortex grabbed the gem. And the six watched him turn into his known form, and watched his hand burn off. Vortex yelled, and lunged for Reuben. Reuben panicked, and let out a screa, so powerful it blasted Vortex away. It still wasn't good enough, and the six knew the gem was still unable to preform what they wanted. Suddenly, Vicki nad Conor looked to Claire, and screamed, their faces morphing in Claires point of view. Startled, she let go of the gem. And the others did along with her, thinking thats what they were doing.
Claire shouted, thinking the gem was unprepared. Then to realise they'd done it. Vortex crawled up from his blast spot and shouted, grabbing Daniel. Daniel shouted, and grabbed for Vickis hand. Claire screamed for them to get in a circle around the gem, but Vicki stayed, attempting to get Daniel.
Suddenly Vortex skin begun peeling, and Vortex begun to scream in pain, and anger, letting go of Daniel. Daniel and Vicki rushed to the circle and grabbed the others hands, and then, there was an explosion, of white. A white cloud, like fog but impossible to see through. It was cold, and unsettling. Many people saw this explosion and wandered down to the area.
As people crowded the area the white smoke disappeared, immediately. People gasped, watching as six children floating, the gem beginning to cover their bodies. The people watched desperately, as the gem took over the sixes body. But were helpless...
When the gem covered each of the sixes body, a huge explosion was created.
After that, those six were never seen again, and pronounced dead.
But, they say the prophecy was still unfulfilled. As darkness lingered in every part. Darkness that was too unnatrual for the light.
Luckily people forgot about this soon after, and soon people just claimed the six as legends. As the generations after, just marked it as "Gem Of Eden"."
The mysterious woman, closed the book, and gave a grin. Woahs were heard across the room. "You mean that legends true?" A small girl said, around 4 or 5, her voice was soft and angelic, yet she misprounounced each of her words. The woman laughed, her laugh was quite sickening, it sounded fake and worrying. "Thats up to you, little one." She winked. "Also, what other prophecy??" The girl questioned again.
"Unnatrual darkness still lingers, a darkness which is beginning to reach a point where it could destroy the world. Darkness is needed, but this darkness is stronger and unnecessary. So i do believe there is another prophecy, a prophecy that will end this darkness forever." The woman grinned at the girl. Another child, a boy, looked up at the woman. "Do you know what that prophecy is?" He asked. "Not its exact wording, but i know of it." She gave a pause and continued, this time, telling her tale of the next prophecy.
"Six new children, theorised to be stronger than Eden, will rise, using only themselves, will destroy all thats left of the darkness left behind or create forever darkness. Six other children, the most hated rival, will level them up, destorying some trust, and a unwanted traitor. A new war begins, the war of eternal darkness and the fight of lights life."
Not exactly happy with the prolouge, but its going to be different in the story itself. If you'd like to sign up, you may. Also the reason I didn't accept some backstories, was because the stories set in a completely different time. And the story is set way into the future, so people who made a backstory in the legend, can't use that seen as... the stories in the future. So yeah, just clearing that up cx
