hey guys so i would like to talk about game modes it's rather simple and it would be really cool for some of us to use it what im saying is we should be able to pick between 0123 so we can have pvp or creative and for mini adventure maps in creative adventure mode if you want we could restrict it to ranks but i wouldn't want that
so yeah lets have different gamemode in creative (gamemode is the type of mode you are playing you can start a creative world and then do /gamemode 1 (i think thats it) to go to survival)
 
Related to your topic, gamemode was already suggested previously here.

theres a reason why it's called creative and i don't think it would be a good idea -1

I mean it has some different stuff in there so we can see how this goes *insert that shrugging guy*
I might end up locking this thread later if needed though. c;
 
Honestly this was already discussed and since it'll cause lots of problems it's been down voted.
 
In my opinion, I think that a command like "/plot gamemode [0-1-2]" would be better.
If the plot owner do this command, it will change the gamemode of everyone who's added on the plot to the selected gamemode.
If you leave the plot, your gamemode will automatically become creative.
Also if people want to PvP, a command like "/plot PvP [on-off] should be added too.
Now lemme explain myself why.
Restricting the gamemode to the plots, because people could PvP everywhere.
Not adding the gamemode 3, because it's useless.
Only added person on the plot, because if you wanna explore and you fly over a survival plot, your gamemode will be updated and you'll fall to your death.
A PvP on/off, because if you want to do a RP with the gamemode 2 to avoid people griefing, peolpe could start PvPing in the middle of the RP.

maybe it wasn't clear but normally a "/plot" command as an effect on a plot only if the plot owner do the command
but i'll add it to be more clear

I’ve previously voted down for this, but since then I’ve changed my mind because it definitely could be a fun perk only given to ranked players for instance;

Players would be able to make their own mini-games. I joined a server once (not going to name) that had creative plots, where you could create your own mini games, just as players create rps, this could be another feature. It had a command that opened something similar to auction menus in factions, you click on it, and you’re transported to that player’s spawn point of their mini-game.

Players in rps, could rp more realistically.

I don’t necessarily know about pvp being enabled, it could definitely be a option, but I’m totally fine with adventure mode.

And can anybody actually come up with cons instead of “it’s called creative for a reason” as creative is for creativity, and this is definitely a creative idea.

I think this is a amazing idea especially for rps. for sure it would make rps a lot funner imo +1

Edit:
Make it so you can only go in survival,creative and adventure mode. and so you can only be in those gamemodes on the players plot.

Linking back to what Ikonium said, it should really a command that only affects your plot e.g. /plotgm 0 (changing the gamemode on your plot to Survival, obviously affects the plot you're standing on.) But otherwise, I don't see why this shouldn't be added! You've earned a +1, my dude.
