You know how on the side of the forums page it shows recent status updates and what staff are on etc. Well here are a few things I think it would be cool to have.

New members

I think it would be cool if there was a section that would welcome new members to the forums!

New ranks

As suggested in my other thread https://mcpz.net/threads/ranked-shoutouts.35595/

Most points recently

This would show the people who have received the most points in the past 30 days.


And that's it! If you have anything to add onto this please reply below :p

New members: This is ideal. Very creative of you. This should be added because staff members and just regular non-staff members would certainly love to help new members and if this was added, they would be sure to have fun helping. +1

New ranks: In my opinion, this is absolutely pointless, I mean, I know where you're trying to get at, but I think a lot of people would create a conversation with the person who has a new rank saying something like congratulations but that would mainly be considered spamming. -1

Most points recently: Again, same reasons, spamming and pointless. -1.

Overall: -1

New Members: Xenforo has a feature to turn this off/on. +0

New ranks: It can spam so -1

Most points recently: People can abuse this. -1

Overall: -1

How can it cause spam? It can't cause spam if they added a limit - 5.

How can people abuse?

Added a 'Newest Members' widget to the 'Members' page. The other two would require a bunch more calculations and XenForo is extra when it comes to adding new things, so I'll leave those until further notice.
