An app for mobile devices to have the forums on... kinda simple but helpful.

The mobile version of the forums already works very well, I see no need for this. I’m pretty sure our dev team has a lot of other stuff to do as well.

I have suggested this over 8 months ago, and the responses we're almost all negative. These were some reasons why;

• Takes too long to code
• Lots of money to keep it on the App Store
• No use (mobile browser works fine– download Puffin from the AppStore/GooglePlay if your original browser sucks)
• Almost nobody would use it (our server only gets ~500 people a day, over half probably don't use the forums)
• The Devs do have other plans (more games, work on the forums, fixing bugs, etc)

If I can, I will try and dig up the old suggestion and give you the link so you can see the arguments I put out vs the arguments the community put in.

The devs have other things to focus on rather than an app that people would barely use. If the network got bigger, to the extent how some of the top servers are then sure I'd reconsider. But at this point it's not necessary. -1

Right now, I'm against this suggestion.

• Honestly, I think the mobile version on browsers works fine. I use Google Chrome on my Samsung tablet to access the forums if I'm not at my computer, and everything works the same.
• It would take a lot of time to code this and keep it up and running. Right now, there are bigger issues that the staff need to put their energy into.
• The only way PartyZone could earn any revenue from this would be to put advertisements into it, and you don't want that, do you?

The only positive I can see for this suggestion to be implemented would be for a live chat option instead of using the Conversations button for large groups, but TeamSpeak and Discord seem to satisfy players already, so I don't think it's a good enough reason to implement this.

Thank you for your suggestion, though! It's always great to see players who genuinely care enough about this community and its well-being to post suggestions. Maybe next time, think through your suggestion a bit more and make sure it's something PartyZone needs. Then make sure it's very detailed!

Just to let you know, you are able to hyperlink the forums on your phone so it makes an app, And when you click that app it takes you straight to the forums page.

If you’re on an iPhone you click that Square with the arrow pointing out the top of it at the bottom of the screen (Make sure you’re on the home screen of the forums) then you scroll along and press (Add to Home Screen) and there you have it.

This wouldn't be necessary, seeing as nobody would use it and like amandq said, it would waste money being on the app store.
