MCPZ has been fun and all throughout the years, but things have gone DOWNHILL, like my friend said a word, and got warned, but then I said that word, and didn't and so did another person, they said that word but didn't get warned, my friend is now planning to quit. MCPZ staff sometimes can be annoying too, and i'm not being rude but they can, and thats not a bad thing i'm annoying too (most of the time actually lmao) but it gets kind of annoying. The trolls have started making their way to MCPZ too, and I mean it like one day I saw a troll, then about 10 or 12 hours later another one! And thats just my feedback, I know its kind of hard to fix trolls from coming here, but I think as soon as they start trolling they should be warned.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, there's nothing that can be done about the trolls.

If they're directly annoying or rude to you or another player, feel free to create a staff abuse report.

I know its kind of hard to fix trolls from coming here, but I think as soon as they start trolling they should be warned.

Trolling is not allowed as stated in the rules, if there are no staff members online, feel free to report them on the forums. If there are staff members online, they may have been punished and you just don't know about it.

Okayyyy maybe not saying the word that got your friend warned is a good start to this firstly.

Secondly, staff are here to do their job which is to keep the toxicity out of the network as much as they can. If you have a reason why staff are being "annoying" you can come as speak to me about it and we have a discussion

Thirdly, trolls are not something we as staff enjoy being on the network either but we can't catch every single one, if you see someone trolling you can report them on the user report sections.

^^ Plus, depending on the context in which the word “crap” was used in, your friend could’ve gotten warned for the context instead of the word itself. Context is very important. /shrug

If staff annoys you, that means one of two things. They're doing their job and you're just taking it the wrong way, in which case you can talk about it in pms, OR they're a brand new staff member and they're purposely annoying you. In the case of the latter, you can make a staff abuse report in the links other people have sent above.

The staff wouldn't have warned them for saying "crap" but instead the context of the sentence which could've been deemed rude/innapropiate.

Let me start with no server is perfect... and let me say that this server isn't that down hill as some.

I do dislike the fact though that many players are quite a handful sometimes. The staff do have a lot on their plate looking for something that is hard to notice or see as its a whole list of things including the unknown. Still they over think things and give unreasonable assumptions.

Lastly a warning really means nothing unless you get more than you lose.

Punishments might be inconsistent due to the differences in staff members' tolerance. Your friend was warned, but you might not have been warned because either the present staff member(s) was lenient enough, or that the staff member was too busy to notice or absent completely. Besides, a warn is literally just a warn. It's not like your friend was muted. I've been warned at least twice, and they were for completely garbage reasons, but I stayed around because a warn isn't a big deal. That one instance of possible punishment inconsistency is not enough evidence to merit the claim that "PZ is going downhill."

I don't understand why people complain about staff and then don't do anything about it. Encourage your friend to make a staff abuse report if they're sure they were mistreated. It's not hard. Also, you provided no details about "staff being annoying." For all we know, they could have been asking you not to break rules. If you're going to complain about the PZ staff, please gather evidence and make a staff abuse report.

Finally, trolls have always existed on Minecraft servers and will likely continue to exist on them until the end of time. Get over it. If they're breaking rules, grab a staff member or report them. Otherwise, if you're not willing to do anything about it, then why are you complaining?

"go eat my crap" maybe... but if it was something like "crap!" because they messed up something then that's a big "no" when it comes to warning?
