Josh is weird... and I haven't finished the game, but i have a theory he could have killed the girls. in the intro when he was passed out, he didn't run outside with everyone else. He could've run out the back after them. He probably had an accomplice.
Plus, he wasn't part of the prank. Everyone was in on it, except for Josh and Beth! He could've been plotting or something.

I finished the game, Josh didn't do anything. He died, though. I thought Mike was going to die in those mines, but it turns out he just got pulled under. The Wendigo pulled Josh's head off, and I was like "Plot twist." o-o

Same thing happened to Minx.
