CHAPTER 5: AN ENDLESS WINTER NIGHT

They all run back and place the gem to where its meant to be. Until everyone felt uncomfortable because.... it got cold, freezing to be exact and it started to snow outside. They walk outside to investigate and it looks like it was just snowing by coincidence until 6 vampires come out and start spraying gas in everyone's face... everyone starts to fall to the floor 1 by 1 until everyone is on the floor. Each vampire picks up someone and takes them to the fountain... 2 of them hide in the bushes and the rest of them walk back into the house.

They eventually wake up and the vampires jump out of the bushes... they surround everyone into a circle. Justin asks what they want. and they start to hiss at them before explaining "Lets play a game of checkers... 2 vs 2... us versus you. Pick 2 people to play checkers and the other 4 stand on those stepping stones" she points at the stepping stones. "If we win, the 4 on the stepping stones die, if you win.... you may go". Everyone starts to discuss and Uhrye immediately offers to play but nobody listens... they come to the decision of Jack and Justin playing.
Uhrye, Olivia, Amaryllis and Raven all walk over to the stepping stones and they each stand on 1 and Justin and Jack start playing checkers with the vampires. Until Justin notices that the vampires are cheating.. Uhrye notices aswell. Justin confronts them and they start getting mad and start hissing. One of them grabs Justin and lifts his head up and puts her claws by his neck... the other vampire runs to the stepping stones.... Olivia, Uhrye and Amaryllis all run but Raven gets cornered, The vampire gets her claws and tries to scram Raven but at that moment... Raven falls backwards into the fountain. She starts screaming as its super cold. At that moment... a giant man with muscles pops out of the bushes and starts attacking the vampires. Once all the vampires are dead, he falls to the ground like he is gonna die. He whispers under his breath "Walk the path of betrayal" before dying.
Allison takes the group to a different part of the garden. It has 2 lanes separated by hedges in the middle is a sign saying 'PATH OF BETRAYAL' with a man on the side, the man has a snow mask and 2 swords. Allison gets out her cards and tells them to vote for who will walk the paths. Everyone votes and Allison shuffles.

Amaryllis
Allison gives them both a card with their face on and tells them to give them to the man. They give it in and the man says that they must run along the path as fast as they can and click the button when they get there, Winner is the person who gets there first.
Allison says 'GO' and they start to run... Amaryllis gets there first and she hits the button. There is a door on each lane and when she clicked the button... Jack's door closes. There is a piano looking thing with 4 different quartz plagues and one each one it said Everyone's names (Olivia, Uhrye, Justin, Raven) Jack arrives at the door and asks what is there, she says that there is a piece of paper saying 'Smash the name of the person who you want to betray on the floor'. She then asks Jack to help and opens his door... They decide that Olivia and Justin have helped too much to betray... they start to discuss weither to betray Uhrye or Raven. Jack says that Uhrye hasn't proved her self as worthy to live as Raven. Amaryllis grabs The plague with Uhrye's name on... she lifts it up and smashes it on the ground. The snow turns into a Snowstorm.
Back at the garden the man grabs his swords and lifts them out of his backpack, he walks over to the group and starts to walk towards Uhrye.. Uhrye in a shocked tone says "What? What did i do?" before getting sliced open with 2 swords. He gives a gem to Olivia and Amaryllis and Jack walk back... he says that they needed to betray someone... and they betrayed Uhrye. Everyone was devastated but they had to put the gem back. They walk into the house and put the gem where its meant to be until they hear 'Beep Boop
Bop' They look and.....
