Dear Staff Member,

I think that a new game called 'Escape Room' should be added to the server. This game would be a four player game and would consist of many rooms which require you to solve a series of puzzles. The chat would need to be turned off so players cannot share clues. The first person to get out of the room before the timer finishes wins the game (This game would require a lot a different rooms so the players don't go in the same room twice and remember the puzzle answers) The puzzles could be:

-Pressing the correct button
-Placing objects in the correct order in item frames
-Putting together several pictures to form a clue to the next puzzle
-Finding a key to a locked closet with clues
-Turning on different lights in the correct order
-Putting a certain object that corresponds to a question in a hopper

(ALL of these ideas are possible because I have seen the redstone in Vanilla Minecraft and they do work)

These are all just some of the possible puzzles that could be included in this game.
I worked hard on this and I would like it to be at least read and considered by a staff member.

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED READING THIS AND PLEASE CONSIDER THE IDEA

Any staff wanna change the prefix to "New Gamemode" or @AnimuFloof if you know how to change it, that would help people know what they are clicking on before they read it

Also really interesting idea. I think it could be good for PZ

Top right of the first post aka where you put the suggestion. If you need help with it PM me or a Staff member about it

I've actually been to a real life puzzle game once quite similar to this suggestion and I think this would be an amazing idea. However my only concern is that the level of puzzles will have to be different because there are players of all ages, the younger players would most probably find the more difficult puzzles too had and the older player still might find the easier puzzles too easy. Another thing is that the puzzles would get replayed and for those players who would play this game a lot would probably remember the answers therefore making it easier for them to win which wouldn't be fair on the other players. Other than that I'd love to see this game get implemented.

Hi iiBubble I remember you from earlier, thanks for helping me with forum points and I think that if my suggestion was implemented into the lobby it would be split into three sections: easy, medium and hard. Thank you for bringing this up to me!

Anytime you need help with anything I'm free to help! And that does sound like a good idea but like I said (I edited my quote because I forgot a bit) for those who would play this game over and over again, they'd remember the answers to the puzzles.

Yeah I mentioned that in my first post where before the map would be implemented there would have to be many different types of rooms. Of course a different room could be built with the same type of puzzles and clues but just slightly different so the rooms aren't completely the same. I would definitely help build these rooms since I have a bit of experience in red stone and I wouldn't want to cause the admins too much trouble. If making too many maps becomes too hard then having this as a seasonal event would work better since then players could save their progress and make their way towards the top and the levels wouldn't be constantly replayed.

This applies to all games, but in action games it's a bit harder to memorize the patterns.
You're playing for fun, not for replay value.
Why do people rewatch the same show? They already know the ending.
Replay value holds no grounds in a thread like this.
It's similar to why you play parkour, to get faster and better at it.

By the way +2
@Aiden I'm voting for you.

I'm confused if you think my suggestion is a good or bad idea
Oh never mind thenthank you
xD I think bubble's response holds no grounds in a thread like this.
I personally think a puzzle game would be interesting in PZ, and it would draw a whole new type of nerd here.
(Also watch out double posting is against the rules, use edit on your first post, it's a button right below the messages, beside delete and report).
By the way, next step is to start designing puzzles, good luck!

Actually I watch shows over and over again :p. Also I do know that some people may not want to play the same puzzles again, but it depends on the pattern in the game. What I was thinking that's the puzzles would be randomised, so if you played the same game twice, that player would know what to do, making it unfair for other players. But I do agree with what @PartyMochii said on another suggestion. Maybe this could be a seasonal game so staff have time to come up with new puzzles.

That's what I was saying because players can adapt quickly to a game so if it is implemented permanently then players might complete all the levels before the owners have time to create a new room.
I think this would work as a seasonal game. Like I said I'd love to see this game get implemented but maybe if it's a seasonal game that would work better.
