Spending so much time on this egg hunt and probably not wining anything seems kind of frustrating, having a coin system seems like a good idea! +1

I understand the point of this thread. What if you don't even play murder. Besides, competitions are for winners, giving everyone a prize is basically a drop party for the server.
"competitions are for winners" no lol it's so everyone has fun. i'm simply making a small suggestion that'll make a lot of people happy because a lot of people (cough @Grizzly ) spent 50+ hours egg hunting, and will get no prize other than the gadgets.
The point of this is to give a prize to non-winners as many of the winners had the time to grind eggs, but many of us did not. So to keep everyone happier, give everyone a very small prize.
well thats too bad for them then, and yes competitions are for winners because whats a competition full of losers...?

Competitions have always had winners. First place, second place, third place, 4th and 5th maybe, and so on. Sorry to the people who devoted their blood sweat and tears to a minecraft server... but they didn't make it. Though luck. Not everyone can get a reward just because the server is feeling generous. Honestly, I feel like maybe the top 5% or so getting a super small reward isn't too bad of an idea when I come to think of it, but everyone getting something? Just no...
MCPZ is a loving community. This idea not only ensures everyone gets a prize and feels as if their time wasn't put to waste, but everyone is happy because they got a prize!
I know many people who acquired many eggs and spent countless hours on trying to get a full set but still wasn't able to find that last Golden Egg that was needed.
@Clockwork mentions the downside of "what if they don't play murder or downgrade?" I think this is a foolish response, as many players play murder, I think it's even the #1 game on MCPZ. Even if players don't play Murder there's always Downgrade.
"What's the point of winners if everyone wins something?" Well getting a coin each egg isn't a very big prize compared to ranks such as; VIP, VIP+, Elite, & Elite+.
The more time spent on the egg hunt/event the more coins you would have gotten.
Overall I agree with this idea, if players don't receive coins this year, maybe it could be implemented next year +1

Competitions are simply competing against each other. Some might have only certain winners yet some can also have multiable winners or even everyone wins.
Example- 8 people bring presents to compete in a competition. Who ever gets first wins what they want then second and so on.
If I were to bet some players just came for the event such as one of my friends did. The only downsides I see is have will they know all the players that have a certain amount of eggs and then give them the coins. This could be simple or not too simple. Also I don't really understand why people are calling them "murder coins" they are simply coins for both games?

If the staff members are able to create a leaderboard to count how many eggs each player has, I am sure that it is simple to find out how many players get coins. I think it's easy to implement a coin system where you automatically are given a coin for each egg.
Though the egg hunt is over, this suggestion could be added for next year's egg hunt.

I mean. Some people stayed awake everyday all day. And they still lost. Its hard enough to collect those eggs. Anyway. If you collected 5 eggs, lets say, then its not a big prize. 500 eggs? Still not as big as the winners prizes which is stuff like: Elite+, Elite, Vip+, Vip
So why is it bad for people to even get coins? Its a nice bonus. People who dont play downgrade and murder well thats okay. Its still good to have earned that bonus for participation. Also very little players dont play those game. They have to either sit in a lobby for hours sometimes waiting for creative to come back up. So they end up in those games. But either way, its nice to have a small bonus prize.

I totally agree! Even though i'm not that serious about big events, I was also unable to complete any set, so this would be GREAT for players who couldn't complete sets! +1
Thank you for your suggestion. However, this suggestion will not be implemented since the event has already ended and the prizes have been distributed.
