Basically, I recollected how Pz doesn't accept Minechat/pickaxe chat as proof because it can be easily photoshopped or edited.

My idea is very simple, in this area of the report form,
EnuGdQv.png

We should update it to add, "Pickaxe Chat/Minechat proof is not accepted" that people do not make unnecessary reports which will be denied.

Suggestions
-> TimeLord:
A guide should be created on how to report, what kind of proof is allowed/disallowed, general detailed information about reporting.

It wouldn't be best to place it there although it's a good place to provide a thread link to a guide for providing proof and then placing it there. Making it easier to add on or add pre existing not allowed/ allowed evidence.

It would atleast make people aware that those chats proof isn't valid because in the past I myself have forgotten it's not allowed and unnecessarily made reports, but I love your idea too!

Perhaps making a guide for the totality of creating a user report. Examples of scenarios in the guide would be to state what kind of evidence isn't accepted such as cropped pictures, minechat/pickaxe chat screenshots, as stated, etc. Just a little addition to the idea :p

TimeLord has suggested the same thing above and like I said that would be great too but most people avoid guides as it's too much work reading.

What I am getting at is in the future or right now there might be other disallowed evidence making a place for that would help, as well adding a guide to provide allowed evidence would be nice too. Besides there is no data that people don't read guides, making the argument invalid.
Let me play this scenario:
Person A: reports using minechat
Person B [Mod]:I'm sorry your report has been denied for insufficient evidence. Minechat is not a reliable source of evidence please use this(link) guide in the future.

Thank for reporting!
...
Basically the user would be more likely to view guides later.

Honestly that has happened to me and I definitely agree on this! But along with that I just think in that little area either the guide should be added or the message should be updated.

I definitely think this would be a great addition, it prevents prolonged times going through and creating staff reports, for each player and/or staff member. Players would become aware that this evidence isn't sufficient and staff wouldn't have to
reject the report because the player is unable to provide other acceptable evidence. This obviously depends on the circumstances,
but I can clearly see how this could be necessary and positive.

As for a User Report Guide, it would help staff respond to users more efficiently as players would understand much easier and can have effective results, such as more information, better placement of evidence, and etcetera. +1 for both ideas!
