Easter Egg Hunt Prizes

Okay, as most of you know, for having all regular and shiny eggs, you get... a gadget. One shoots out an exploding chicken, that does nothing, and the other just shoots out eggs, which of course, does nothing. I spent hours hunting for these stupid eggs, hoping to maybe win a rank, or at least my name in Murder. Apparently, you don't win anything like that. You win gadgets you probably won't even use. You may want to think twice about this gigo. A lot of people think the same. Even a few staff members said they didn't like it. I just can't get over how I practically wasted 10-15 hours looking for virtual eggs to get something I won't even use. You could've told everyone the prize and saved everyone a lot of time. I heard that these prizes are temporary, and I'm hoping that's true. When I logged on and asked what the prizes were, they said "Look in your gadgets." I looked and I swear, I got so mad I ripped one of my shirts. All of that time I spent looking for eggs, I got an egg shooter and a chicken bomb. Just what I wanted. After that, well you know what happens. *ragequit*

Well technically let's put it into this perspective, If everyone who got a full set of normal eggs they would get their name in murder. There was about 800+ winners for that so that would mean 800+ or more names in murder. That would be unfair for people that actually bought it so they could have their name in murder. Also If 129 people got all shiny eggs and they each got a rank upgrade then this would be unfair on people that bought ranks. Also @gigosaurus would probably never give out a huge number of ranks because the server needs donations from purchase that people make to keep the server alive. So if everyone who got all shiny eggs got a rank, then this would probably cause the server to close since they probably will not be able to pull enough money in to keep the server alive so it will have to be shut down. I would just be happy with just what you got, because since it is an exclusive gadget when some people come online they will be fascinated by these gadgets. I was happy with the gadgets so you should just accept it.

Do you honestly think that "raging" over this is going to get you anything or anywhere? It was your choice to spend those "10-15 hours" on the "stupid eggs". And I'm not sure what staff told you that ranks were going to be given out to everyone who got a full inventory of shiny eggs...To put that in perspective, 129 People would be getting ranks. In other words, the server would be loosing $2,580 dollars in server funds at the least. I'm sorry you don't appreciate what the Administration developed for you, but maybe think twice about criticizing their hard work.

P.S: There is going to be another prize. No one is sure what yet.

Maybe my super hidden message was too well hidden. Try reading the prize thread again but this time after pressing Ctrl+A (may seem odd, but you'll see why when you find the secret ^_^)

Idk if something was supposed on other computers but I'm on a mac and it just took me to the top of the page .-.

EDIT: then an ad for chips came up. Is this your secret? You want PZ players to buy ranch flavoured doritos?

"Each level you achieved will also go towards something that is still being developed, and will play a large role in the server once it is released." Gigo bae you should explain more ;) <3

Suppose there was nothing more to it than the gadget. You were not promised anything else. If you think about it, over a thousand people participated. The server runs off of money from ranks etc. If he gave away too much, he couldn't keep the server running. And more than anything, the egg hunt was a fun time waster like cookie clicker. it's just a fun little event to relax and find some eggs, and get a little rush when you find that one rare egg you've been looking for the past hour. And it gives you something to do while you talk to your friends or take a break from another game.

I can definitely see how you may be upset over your time, but I personally don't think something like that should be done purely for the prizes.
