Okay, thank you!!Okay!
First of all, experiment with different eye designs and try and find the design most appealing to you. Do the same with the other facial features.
Then make a stick figure body. You can give form to it gradually by adding lines.Okay, thank you!!![]()

Hello children, I was wondering if any of you had any tips on getting better at drawing? Yesterday I drew something I'm pretty proud of but that rarely happens so yeah.
nah that helps thanks !!This is probably the worst advice ever.
As someone said above ^^ I find it easier to find a reference picture where I can copy the pose from, etc.
Usually, if I'm struggling in one particular area (hands, feet, legs, etc.) I will search up some sketches that other people have done with that particular body part and practice drawing it over and over.
((I usually just draw anime as well tho))
thank you! also your drawings are very good, even your older onesDrawing is a talent that does not appear instantly. As the very overused saying goes, "Practice Makes Perfect", and when put to the test with drawing, it is true. Being a good artist doesn't just come instantly. Study poses, and try different things. If you mess up, keep trying! Redraw pictures you don't like and it might come out alright! My drawings started pretty bad, and here's a little example.

As you can see, BEFORE, around March 2015 is when I started, and it was a bit over a year when I drew the AFTER one. It's clear there was improvement, so don't give up! Keep trying!
