Do you guys think Creative should be reset? like...wiped clean?

Me and a few other people were thinking this, and Idk why it would benefit but it might help the lag situation, either that or make it worse.~



what do y'all think
 
I think that some people will be against that because of the hard work they've done on their plots, so why not add some kind of "/plotbank save [name]" and "/plotbank load [name]" and "/plotbank" as a saving method for plots. Then they can have big notice for a wipe, and unsaved plots will be saved under their plot message with [SAVED FOR WIPE] beside. This helps a lot.

thats a good idea, but everyone can just save there plots and when you wipe them, there wont be much of a difference.

Ah, only the people online will load them. If someone left the server, they wouldn't come back to load the plot reducing the amount of plots by a ton.
 
I don't think this would be a good idea. I know people, including myself, who have spent quite a bit of time on a plot, and quite frankly, I don't want it to be all gone.
Plus, unless a plot is intentionally meant to create lag (i.e a lag machine), it could just be reported. All of the plots being present are most certainly not a reason for the lag, but rather the amount of players.

I really don't think creative needs to be reset. If there's just a laggy plot, it can be removed by a staff member. Many people would be annoyed if they come back to creative and their hard work is gone.
 
I don't see the point in this, really. While there is a good amount of unused plots by inactive players, there is also a major part of active users who have a lot of plots they've worked hard on, and older members may even have old build maps on their plots, like some of the PZ (not Solari) builders. I also have many old plots that are almost two years olds, which most took a very long time to make and I doubt I could replicate.

To reset all of creative would not only erase a user's hard work and quite possibly irreplaceable builds, but also completely wipe memories. I've had many fond memories on my own plot, whether from build with old members of the server or playing with them on my plot or quite simply just building this.

In my opinion, to do all that which I stated above to a user is just awful. I don't agree with creative getting a full reset. If plots cause lag or are causing issues, the staff can take care of them.

I don't really think creative should be reset because I've worked hard on my builds and I do not want creative to get rid of my builds.
 
Ok, I can see as to why it should be reset to help lag and all however at the same time think of all the people who would be annoyed about their builds being cleared, I was thinking what if all old unused plots were cleared that would help however that may also cause problems lets say if somebody is on holiday etc..

Right now, really the only solution is a server upgrade...
 
There is really no point in resetting creative, people would just get mad because some people spend ages of the time to build something to show off and if it's going to be reset their just going not going to re-build what they spent lots of time on, and if they wanted a new plot they could always buy VIP or clear their own plot.

Yeah. That's what I did once.
Like absol said, there are some plots that have really nice memories linked to them.
I remember building an RP with my best online friend and it would be sad to see all of my builds wiped clean.
If this happened, (I doubt it will now) I would be outraged. Because all of my precious builds had been wiped clean. Also, it will wipe away the memories linked to the build.

I would be pretty sad that all of my hours spent on pixel art would be gone, but if would make lag better I would defiantly want it to happen.
 
Creative doesent NEED to be reset. I mean, that would be cool, but nah. to much hard work and DETERMINATION put into these plots.
