lately I have seen people disrespecting Mods,Helpers,Admins and Dotaters i see when one person swears the chat starts to spam and swear but also I have seen so Mods,Helpers,Admins have ignored maybe only 1 player let me give you a example

[Admin] Hi
[Regular Player]Hey Admin!I need you to help me on this grief I found!
[players x50]
[VIP] Hi Admin Want To play some murder?
[Admin]Sure!


This is disrespectful just because if they are not a VIPs doesn't mean let's ignore them this is just wrong because this should be the Voted Best For MC Servers but not if Staff keep acting like this I feel ignored by VIP,s a lot I feel as they just look at the people every mainly talks to this concerns me about this server maybe sometime staff will be more nice and fix this disrespectful view. :/

And another example is when staff do this:

This is to show how they say they are AFK but they are not! This makes me grow in anger!

P.S. I Know the rules about /reportgrief I am using it as a example for the conversation proof!

And the conversation that is in the example I know is not necessary but I can't think fast right now so u can just think of something else instead of telling me the basic noob facts! <---look

Disrespect? That's not what I'd call it. What I'd call it is a flood of people blocking out the one player, as well as the gray and highlighted chats. You try talking in a major hub with about fifty players chatting at the same time, it's easy to loose people, plus admins have their own time to take care of. They can't be here every second of every day, they're gonna miss things. Don't act like they're so bad because they missed one question when about fifty players are talking and pushing chats down.

As for the swearing just report it...

But admins and other staff get very busy, take it from an ex-helper. Sometimes when I'm alone it gets very confusing and difficult. People will message you constantly, just to talk to a staff, others needing issues, sometimes even just to insult you, as well as having the deal with the global chat? Tensions rise, and it's definitely not easy. If you're ignored in the chat just RE-ASK.

Unfortunately staff do get under-treatment just for being staff, they're mocked, verbally abused, and a lot more. Trust me, I got cursed out, insulted because of my name, and a lot more. So because possibly one staff missed one question with about fifty people chatting, they're going to freaking miss things, especially in creative. The RP chat helped calm it a bit but there's still a lot of things.

I agree, The chat gets flooded, but the reason they answer VIP Questions is, Its ALOT easier to see a light blue name, then a grey name.
I do feel like I'm ignored sometimes, but mainly because either the staff member is AFK, or just not on the minecraft tab.
/reportgreif is also a command to report greif's I suggest using it, but staff can't answer multiple questions, ask again after the staff member is available.

I agree with Absol and Drag, the chat gets flooded with many things that a staff can't handle all these things at once. Staff is sometimes afk, and they can't help like 5 people at a time.

That's why I got Elite, so I can help people with what they need. Building big houses, setting their plot ground so they don't have to do it by hand, etc. Like they said, /reportgrief here is always there to help ya.

And VIPs and up have a brighter chat so they can easily get noticed.

Most issues can be handled by yourself or others as well. Reporting bugs and players, reporting griefs, questions, can be helped in game or on the forums, which is a major stress reliever for staff.

Thanks! i know about the grief part but the Rudeness from Staff and or Players we warn them to stop and the keep doing it so it is hard when people just don't respect that you are helping the server

This is when it really helps if you see a staff member or normal player does something bad to report it.

How about you work on getting more helpers, by decreasing your standards a little bit, so everyone can help, and no one will be ignored.

I think the chat colors are also the cause of this. I miss so many messages because of the gray text.

I think some of the current helpers (not giving names) should get demoted to give others that really want to be helpful for the server a chance or accept more helpers.

Giving somebody a shiny rank with commands won't help, and frankly when I was helper a lot of the people who applied were immature, bad grammar, bad decisions, etc. but there has been a confirmed new helper application coming soon which may help anybody who wants to apply.

Getting more helpers won't do anything, just give more people and more chances of staff abuse.

This is weird, when I say hi to people in chat, they say hi back, probably because if the orange name highlighter thing. Also /msg help/staff helps me a lot, and they normally do respawn. Most times I don't have questions, I just say "another day at the office?" And they just say yep XD

There are a few things I want to point out:
a) I can guarantee that staff aren't purposefully ignoring you, and as @Absol1991 said-- staff members are working on a lot of stuff. Usually when I'm on the server, I'm also on the forums, occasionally on the TS, and usually helping one or two people via /msg. There's a lot you don't see.
b) Tagging the staff member (typing out their full name, with the correct capitalization) goes a LONG way. As many of you have noted, it's true that it's hard to catch all the messages from darker gray names, but the highlighted yellow in chat for tagging will almost always get my attention.
c) Staff members don't prioritize who we help by rank, as @Booneh said: we usually just help in the order we get requests. That's really the best and most equal way we can do things.

The last thing we want is for anyone to get offended, and we do our best to help everyone we can-- it's our job.

P.S. About that World Edit scenario, unlike filing a grief, or asking a question -- World Edit isn't exactly a necessity. Staff members are usually (depending on the staff member) willing to help with building something, but that's not quite our job description. We usually prioritize rule-breakers and questions first.

Instead of just being like "they're so abusive" maybe give us details, names, and proof instead of just leaving us here confused.
