~________Anime's POV________~​
I invited Kitteh over to watch Divergent. We loved that movie, and never got sick of it. I read all the books and Kitteh probably has too. I heard something outside and looked through the window. Everyone was running...but from what? I opened the curtains wider and saw...it. It was a huge mecha, silver, no distinguishing features...that's what worried me. Uniform robots like that usually meant the government...but why attack this city? I know there have been rebels spotted here and people have protected them...but why destroy the whole city just because of that? Kitteh was next to me staring wide-eyed at the mecha.
"What the heck?! Why would they-" She was cut off by a ear pounding explosion. The mecha had fired at the sidewalk right next to my house...I grabbed my hoverboard and so did she. We both ran outside, jumped on our boards, and rocketed away towards our friends' houses.
