There should be different servers for creative so people that play with versions that are not 1.8.9, can use the blocks in 1.9 and up.

This is very similar to people suggesting multiple creative servers, and it has been declined. The whole server runs on 1.8 and so does Creative. I don't think we really need different creative servers for different minecraft versions. I do understand that some higher versions have cool blocks that players can use to build with. But it really all depends what the developers think. -1 for me.

Agreed -1

Not to mention, as said in previous versions of similar suggestions:

  • Less people would play than one would think, as people would probably want to keep their builds
  • It would be another potentially large area for staff to moderate, adding more to their already busy workflow.
  • This would alienate the low-end PC demographic, as not everyone can actually even load 1.9. The size of this demographic is unknown, but I don't think it's something that can be done without proper consideration
  • The server already has a running theme of everything being best supported or only supported by Minecraft 1.8 versions
All in all, -1

Sorry Friendo.

As Eggar said, this is very similar to other suggestions.

  • This is like having a second creative
  • If we had a second creative, then people could claim more plots than they can possess.
  • You couldn't transfer builds to the second creative because when an E+ //copy's something and they leave creative the item or plot copied will be lost, making you have to start over on your favorite builds.
  • Having different versions (or having a second creative) would be using the servers storage and space, which could be used for more games.

Thank you for your suggestion. However after thorough review, the team has decided this will not be implemented.

This is because you can now join in many versions and use all blocks through version 1.12 due to the creative update. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me via private message.
