Rejected Dev. Appreciation Day!

I always personally appreciate devs for all of the hard work they do, but most people don't. While 27/7/365 I appreciate them, most people rarely do, so I think we should have a day where people are aware of all the devs do for us! We could have messages in chat like:
! Dev Appreciation Day! See a developer? Thank them for all they do for you!
( not in yellow : )
! Dev Appreciation Day! See a developer? Thank them for all they do for you!
We could also do this for other staff who aren't thanked enough, but Admins, the owner, mods and helpers are all thanked a bunch. ( Although Admins are rarely on so we rarely get time to thank them! )

I love the idea itself, but really it’s a no from me.
I understand the devs do a lot of work, and I appreciate them, but a day dedicated to them? Wouldn’t that look biased and unfair to all the other staff members working hard? I know we thank them separately, but I mean, they’re not getting a day of it.
It’s also untrue people don’t appreciate the devs enough, I’ve seen many players thank devs randomly on creative and other parts of the server.
I also doubt this will make people thank the devs because, it’ll be a simple yellow message you’ll see and most likely not pay attention to unless it was spammed constantly. It’s also not a guarantee you’ll see a dev on the day, because they’re not always visible to the public eye, and stay that way for a while, because they’re working.

Either way, it’d be unfair to the other staff. Everyone on the pz moderation team play their roles, players will thank them in their own time, if they wish. Giving a day to one section isn’t fair to all those who put their effort as well.

Thank you for your suggestion. However after thorough review, the team has decided this will not be implemented.

Namely because every day should be dev appreciation day, and we shouldn't need some event to show appreciation to them.
