I have played a game like this(Named "Get-Down") but the server that had it removed it. It was really fun. The only other server I know that has this is a German server and I don't speak German. I hope you like it.
Name: Descent
Gameplay:
Race Mode: Players start on a 5x5 platform and try to scale down the blocks, they must, however find a way that they can gradually get down because they don't want to die from fall damage. If you die, you spawn back at the platform and have to start all over again. After 5 minutes the players that is closest to the bottom wins. If 2 players are both at the bottom there is a rematch, but this time the blocks will randomly disappear and the timer is only 1 minute long.
Point Mode: This mode is that same as the race mode but to win you must collect points. Blocks will randomly turn into emeralds and you will be able to collect them by walking over them. This is how you get points. You lose 5 points when you die, and must start over at the beginning. The player with the most points after 5 minutes wins. If there is a draw it will randomly pick a winner.
Mayhem Mode: Like race mode, but TNT spawns randomly, you get random potion effects every 60 seconds(Good or bad), Everyone can knock people off with their fists(Even without Aggressive kit), and redstone blocks insta-kill you.
Coins:
You will receive 300 coins for winning a game in race mode. In point mode you will only receive 200 coins upon winning, but an additional 10 coins for each point you get.
Kits/Perks:
Jumper (Kit, Free) Receive a 10-second jump boost potion upon spawning. May be used any time in the game.
Feather (Kit, 5,000 coins) Start with a pair of gold boots with feather falling I.
Aggressive (Kit, 10,000 coins) Start with a stick that can be used to knock people off. 3 Uses only.
Lucky I (Perk, 2,500 coins) Have a 1% chance of getting double points from emeralds.
Lucky II (Perk, 5,000 coins) Have a 3% chance of getting double points from emeralds.
Lucky III (Perk, 10,000 coins) Have a 5% chance of getting double points from emeralds.
Graceful I (Perk, 5,000 coins) Have a 5% chance of taking half the fall damage of a jump.
Graceful II (Perk, 10,000 coins) Have a 10% chance of taking half the fall damage of a jump.
Achievements:
Descent Master I: Win 20 games of descent.
Descent Master II: Win 50 games of descent.
Descent Master III: Win 100 games of descent.
Rich Descender: Buy every kit and perk.
Graceful: Fall 5,000 blocks in descent.
There would be 8-12 players per game.
