"I havn't heard from you in a while!" A girly American accent came through the earpiece.
"It's good to hear from you, Aries." Luna smiled even though Aries may not have been able to see it.
"Andro's been scared out of his wits about how you've been, since you havn't had the time to get in contact with any of us."
"Yeah- I thought as much. I'm sorry I couldn't talk to any of you." Luna's english accent came through the earpiece to the Daspire headquarters. She put her hand on her cheek and rubbed her droopy, sleepy eyes.
"It's fine- really, don't worry; anyway, how's London looking?"
"Dreadful. I can see it from here, and even then..." Luna paused. "...You can see the orange flames from here. It's horrible to see it like this."
"I bet." Aries sounded sympathetic.
"The factory in Kent burned down the other day. Killed a few."
"A few too many."
"I know. But I didn't get the report until it was done and over with,"
A loud bang rang through the earpiece.
"There goes the London Bridge."
"Luna- are you sure you're Ok?"
"Sleep-deprived," She answered wearily. She wasn't wrong. Her eyes were tiny as if she was going to fall asleep in the sitting position she was in. "The bridge lost a column today. We couldn't get any building services to go down and see to it. They're all off. It was going anyway. We knew that before it fell."
"God... It is bad, isn't it?"
"It is," Luna seemed to stop a yawn half way to continue talking. "Tower bridge lost a rein, it's going to fall any time. It's cornered off. London's literally in two..."
Aries repeated what Luna said, "In two..?"
"Completely. It's horrible. It's tearing me in two, aswell. Seeing the place I look on to every morning in ruins."
"Luna, Jack's on his way. He's ordered Haru back from Japan, everybody's coming to England. I've only just got the word. We're on our way," Aries tapped her earpiece. "Luna, You hear me?"
No, Luna hadn't heard her.
