Nightmare
9 people had a nightmare, at the same time, of the exact same event, shown in the same way. Strangely, across a school. 3 humans, 2 elves, 2 werewolves, a cat person and a vampire. I only know about this because of my sources. I haven’t introduced myself. I am Sern, and I’m a… hard to say. People call me a psychic. Some a journalist. Some an anarchist. Some call me a ****ing ****face. Those are quite mean people. Anyway, you probably would like to know about the dream.
Debris and rubble, scattered across the broken ground, dust, waste, foul smells and evil swimming through the wind of the wasteland. The air twitched, dust spiralling, and in a flash of grey a being stepped out. It wore grey, plated armour. Its gauntlet went up to its elbow, and hummed and blurred. Misty green energy swirled around it. The eye holes were dark. Soulless. It stepped through the rubble. Its boots broke apart bricks and stone. A boy that looked young, about 16, was on his knees. There was bloody gashes and tears in his clothes. Dust caked his skin. A tear rolled down his cheek. A tattoo of a dragon around a small dagger lay on his forearm, and his other forearm was obscured by a pure black gauntlet up to about ⅘ of of his upper arm. A necklace lay on a piece of rubble. It was a simple silver heart on a chain. Multiple people walked up to the man in armour. All of them wore the same black gauntlets and tattoos. 7 of them walked up. Like the boy, they had silver heart necklaces around their necks. There were 8 people… but 9 necklaces. The figure in armour raised his gauntlet, and the green energy grew and violently spiralled around the gauntlet, the palm glowing an eerie green. It wanted to kill them. It had already gotten one. All of the people had blurry faces, including the boy on his knees. They couldn’t see who was who.
Then, all 9 woke up.
