Murder Danger Meter?

maybe add a danger meter to show how much danger they are in of being killed at a place? what i mean is like if someone is in a dark room alone the meter would go off to show how much danger they are in of being killed. It wouldn't go off when the murderer is near just in dangerous places i understand if it isn't fair for the murderer but they could add a feature to the murderer too. There could be a kill meter telling them if there could be {under line could be} a bystander there. but it wont lead them to a bystander it would just go off if the murderer is near a place that could be safe for a bystander. If any questions go ahead i will try my best to meet all of your requests.

Maybe you can add more details to how it's work but i don't think it would be usefull.
Why not give a compass which it point to the murderer then ?
 
I think what they are trying to say is add like a bar or effect that will get louder/bigger the more dead body's are near.

If that's what they are trying to say -1. You can just look at the body's and then know the murderer has obviously killed a lot of people around here.
 
It would add to the intense feeling without actually seeing the bodies, imagine you walk past a room and its full of bodies and the meter is going nuts and you are like OH GOD NO then lights out :p

I don't think a meter will create an intense feeling. I think it would be cool instead of a meter, Pz creates a heartbeat, when a player's danger percentage is high, they will hear their own heartbeat (using jukeboxes(idk) and a method of the player's screen zooming in or out, etc). Still not sure how I feel about this. +0

Or, rather, the screen could start getting a bit red-tinted at the edges, like when you spawn as the murderer your screen is a bit red-tinted.
 
Isn't the point of Murder, is to not know who the murderer is? Wouldn't this be a dead giveaway. I picture a lobby full of players, I feel like this would make it easier to know who the murderer is. If you walk straight into someone and the meter goes off you know who it is. I personally think this is the opposite of the game so. -1
 
I am staying neutral on this because, yes, I agree with Morphic however if people see the danger meter going crazy they will head off in a different direction so it would be very hard for the murderer as people would stay away from the murderer and be able to find out who the murderer is easily.

This would only happen when you are near dead body's OR something unnatural happens (Like the lights turn off in clue)

Was that mentioned in the main idea? What I've seen is when they're near the murderer, I still don't think it's a good idea, but maybe a little more details from the thread owner would be nice. Still a -1

I'm not too sure about it, what's the point of adding a meter for dead bodies? Maybe someone could explain it a little more in depth for me to understand it.

It doesn't matter if it affects you sorry but you don't have a good argument on Nixon's idea. Can you say why you don't want this?

I think this could exposed the Murderer way too quick, the player could simply do something like use the book (colour that says message for you) and just see who is near then expose the murderer. If that is what you mean like murderer is close and there is a place where there is no one
