New Gametype CTF [Capture the Flag]

Gametype: PVP/Capture

Idea:
You have to capture the most flags, which u can find on the middle to win this game, there will be 4 teams which will be; for example Yellow,Pink,Aqua and Green.

U will win the game when u captured the flag of the capture point/stole the flag from another team 3 times.

But keep an eye out on your defence ;). Other teams might steal ur flag, when they have the chance to steal the flag.

Team Size:

There will be 4-6 players a team.

Incredibly vague. Gonna need more detail, for example, what would make it unique? Kits? Stuff like that.

What this game makes unique that.. less servers have it, about the kits everyone will get iron gear and sword with a leather helmet with their color, and a nametag in the team's color.

Maybe they can add some sort of special thing inside the gamemode like powerups, to make it easier.

Some types of Powerups are... Speed, Jumpboost, strength, leap and Regeneration.

How about a store? For example, each kill rewards you with 1 coin. Once enough have been collected, you may go to your teams store and buy little upgrades-speed, jump, health boost. These would cost 10 coins. (Each perk lost when killed)

However, there could also be shops in the middle of the map, giving perks like speed 3, jump boost 2, invisibility (30 secs). These would cost more, say, 20 coins. To make these purchases even more risky, if you are killed whilst in the shop, you will lose ALL your coins and be at 0 again. Coins do not carry over to other games.

But I actually think about adding a store that how more you play how more chance to win u will have, So Isn't that unfair?

I would agree with @The2GoldenSpoons on this, the thread is very, very vague. All you just said and clarified to Golden, you need to put in your thread. I suggest you go back to the drawing board, think, “Where is there missing info, how can this improve, etc.” and repost a new suggestion.

Creative is popular, murder is dead, splatter is unplayed, downgrade is dead, arcade is dead, the new party games will go the same way.

Touché. But what are you implying the server does? Sit there and wait for it to slowly deteriorate? It needs something to relight the “lit” party.
 
As said above, this suggestion is quite vague. What can we do to make this a more “PartyZone” game? Many large networks have this game already. What can we do to make it different? How big are the maps? How long do the games last?

With all of those questions out of the way, I do think it would be a good idea IF we had they player count for it. Also as said above, creative is our most popular game mode and our PvP game modes are slowly dwindling down to having less than 20 players. If we reach over 500+ players during the summer, I believe we could definitely put this game in as maybe a limited summer game mode and if it does well keep it there for a while. But for now, since we don’t have the players for it, I will have to set my vote to a -1.
 
Oof this reminds me of a game we play in P.E. which is also called CTF but its a little different

Theres 2 teams, one half for each team.
on each team theres 2-4 defenders protecting the treasure (the flag)

theres also 2 jail guards (ill explain later)

and the rest are runners

a runner from team 1 runs to team 2's side and tries to grab a treasure
the defenders have to stand 3 feet away from the treasure
if a person from team 1 gets a treasure but gets caught by somebody on team 2 that person goes to ''jail''
person from team 1 has to drop the traesure and go to jail

the 2 jail guards make sure the person doesnt get out and to catch whoever is trying to free team 1 person

(each team has 3 treasures)

if a team has all 6 treasures they win!

but really this is a good idea
 
This isn't how Capture the Flag actually works. CTF has teams with flags already in their base. You have to steal the opposing teams' flags as well as protecting your own. You're referring to a minigame on another server (let's try to mention it without mentioning it) called Fluffy Cloud Side-Quest on Pixelplex. They're similar, but different goals. If this were to be implemented, it would need a different name.

Since this is basically a copied idea of an original game from another server, I'll be voting -1.
 
Hello! We generally feel that the idea can work, however we want more details. Some points include:
  • Any special mechanics to make the game more interesting and appealing to play over other networks?
  • Possible cosmetics?
  • Map themes?
  • Game themes?
  • Possible kits?
  • Potential special map elements (Similar to the light switch in clue?)
These are just some ideas to jog some inspiration. Not all of these, or any of these really need to be answered, but they can go a long way into gathering support for the suggestion. Thank you, and have a nice day.
