It was blurred. She leant her head on the man's shoulder.
They watched the kid walk down the corridor.

~Spryggin's POV~

"AAH!" I sat up.
Spriggin was on a wooden cart. It was being pulled by an Young Reulo.
"W--How did I get here!?" Spryggin screamed. Spryggin slapped the woman and the horses neighed and went on their back legs.
"Eaaasy, boys.." He calmed the horses.
"WHY AM I HERE!?" Spryggin shouted in her face.
"Say it don't spray it."
"I DON'T CARE. WHERE'S KIA! IS SHE ALRIGHT!?!?"
"She's fine."
"HOW ARE YOU SO CALM!?"
"I'm staying calm for my family.
Spryggin went red. She looked down slightly and to the side.
"My family are at the nest. That's where we're headed. You're helping me. I've seen your duels, I know what you're like. You're the skilled fighter I need to get them out of there.
"M-Me!?" Spryggin looked at him. ".....Are you a stalker?"
"No."
"Then how do you know?" He took his hood down.

His name is Randie. He is a mage. Mages are mostly for magic spells and rarely pull out their sword. it is mostly a last resort.
He's only 11.

"So you need my help to get your family back?"
"Mhmm."
"...Then I'll come. Our species will only remain unknown for so long. Might aswell have a thrill before we all become test subjects."
"That's why I wanna see them. If they get taken, I'm going with them," He said firmly, as he wipped the handle and the horses raced off to the tree in the distance.


~Aiden's POV~

Aiden whistled. He was leaning against a wall near some lockers. The older years went by and eventually the bell rang and the intercom sounded:
"Home time!"
"Thank goodness.." He mumbled to himself.
"AIIIIDEEEEEENNNN!" Shouted a voice. Aiden turned around.
"AIIIIDEEEENNNN!" Another one sounded. It sounded like a fire alarm.

*breathing deeply* "Aiiden... Thank gawd we caught you!" Pesky panted for breath. Gabby took over.
"Yeah..! We need help..! We.. Can't.. Find Kona..." Gabby rested on her knees before eventually falling and sitting down.
"What do you mean?" Aiden asked.
"She disappeared into the trees this morning!"
Aiden thought about the human-shaped silhouettes that he saw in the trees.
"She was interested in those 'mythical creatures' and whatnot, right!?" Gabby looked at Pesky. They'd regained their energy.
"You're right.. She cosplayed one of those for halloween, right?" Pesky replied. Aiden rubbed his chin like a natural detective.
"I saw something in the forest this morning. Why not start there?" Aiden looked at them both.
"Yeah.. But she was here this morning! She disappeared at dinner time. We've not seen her since.." Pesky said.
"True, that means that when the teacher closed the gate this morning, she's either disappeared BY one of the 'creatures', or she has climbed the fence.--" Pesky interrupts Gabby, "Which is literally impossible.."
"So it's settled. They could be real.. We learned about them in class. The scientists near here are investigating every nook and cranny of that nest they found! It was like a city in the sky!" Aiden smiled from ear to ear.

"So where do we start?"

~???'s POV~

"Hello? HELLOOOO!?" The voice screamed.
Hustles and bustles went on in the trees and bushes.
Someone dropped from the branch

"Guys!" Aiden shouted to Gabby and Pesky.
The girl, who had white hair and pointy ears, looked at Aiden. She looked nervous.
"I think we've found our girl."

"But are you sure?"

Although he had a terrible nightmare-ish life, Nixon was a very strange boy, he doesn't expect much from people and NEVER gets his hopes up.. but he sees the good in people and that's why he's still "Himself"
