Hello Everyone and thanks for clicking on my suggestion!
Everyone knows that PZ is a kid-friendly server that nearly everyone enjoys playing although there might be some disagreement in that but I'm not going over that. As proven by my title of the thread, I have some criticism to make about the server. They're not severe nor are they major. They're just things that can make the community better and some tweaks that can be added to our wonderful server

1. I have suggested this many times in the past but I'm sure some of you may have suggested this very recently but i'm not that person who's active on the forums since i'm normally busy. Anyway, there MUST be a discord community server. Just think, theres only a staff discord community, i'd say that is quite rude. It's just a rank... Plus, whats the different between just a staff discord community or a whole server wide discord community? Is there anything that you can't share? Like, cmon guys, we need one

2. We all know that vip+ and above have the ability to /speed ( Well I think so XD ) in Creative. Sure that's cool and all, but why can't we add it to the hub? VIP+ and above should have the ability to do /speed in the /hub and to prevent lag, theres no particle effects coming out of the speed.

3. Now i'll have to say, everyone and even me from time to time LOVES build battle or sometimes Karaoke, so ummm, this is too obvious... MAKE THE EVENTS MORE OFTEN! Like, you gotta agree, Build battle 2 times a week ... TOO LONG TO WAIT, some people can just get so over excited sometimes and lets say Karaoke, 1 time a week where a lot of people can't even come Well lets make it fair and make that twice or three times a week..

4. Lets make some fun stuff now > Why not build a trampoline in the hub? So whenever you touch the slime, it blasts u off in the air OR you could make that a perk for VIP or VIP+ or above! Oh boyy, would I love that !

Thanks for you suggestion, however I have a couple of things to point out.

One being that there is a staff-only discord chat to do staff related things, so yes there are things we can't share with you. It's a means of staff being able to contact other staff if needed and if there are any important changed to be made that all dtaff need to be aware of.

Secondly, originally we had Karaoke and Build Battle every week on Saturdays and Saturday and Sunday respectively, but people didn't join them as often as they happened too often to be of too much interest, which is why they alternate every week.

1. The staff discord contains a lot of private information. While you can limit certain channels to specific roles I don't believe this will happen. It's been suggested a lot and I recall hearing countless admins disagree with having a community discord. I'm unsure to the reason why, possibly because at the moment we're lacking a lot of staff - managing a discord server which could potentially reach 100+ people would be very difficult for the 26 moderation staff. (That may sound a lot, but it's really not.) This would probably be more considerable if our player base increases and we obtain higher amount of staff. I do like the idea of it.

2. Why? Zooming around the lobby is pointless, you already have a compass to fast travel. Plus, you'd be surprised with the amount of speed hackers in lobbies. This would totally hide the fact that someone's hacking. You could have a speed gadget that gives you like 10s speed.

3. The reasoning as to why the events were spaced out is because it was difficult for the event team to keep up. We ended up missing most events and people got upset, so making them biweekly events made things much easier. As of now, I believe there are two event team members. They may be looking to add some peeps to the team though.

4. Not really necessary. It's better for the developers to be more focused on bigger things right now. In the future there could maybe be a fun room warp where people can use gadgets and bounce on trampolines or whatever but eh.

I already stated that would be possible, it's just the other predicament that prevents one from being created. Plus, the admin quotations provided by Dizzeh are enough to suffice that one wont be created at this time.

You would be surprised.

1. As Diz and Emo said. The staff discord chat is mainly for communicating with other staff about staff related things. There are some things on it that we can't share because that would make Helper applications pointless and two, it's stuff you don't need to know. It's completely useless to you.

There are donors who hack in games and lobbies, not just defaults. I've seen many Elites speeding around in the lobby, so without the command it's an obvious way to detect disallowed modifications being used.

This is the only thing I agree with. So +1 there.

Who needs to hack in the lobby of all places and if need be there could be a command to see if a player is using a gadget or not or a specific gadget.

There are a few issues with having an official PZ discord. One of them is the fact that we currently pay to have the teamspeak server, when its getting closer to renewel we may very well look into Discord. The second is we dont have a huge playerbase so its really not worth switching over to discord until our numbers come up. The third point is having speed in the lobby, why? What purpose would it serve? It would also give huge advantages to ranked players during hub events while flying is only a slight advantage. Also people hack in lobbies because thats the first area they log into, a high percentage of hackers are caught in the lobby. Oh and the events thing has been discussed

I dont know if this has been brought up, but if your looking for a PZ related discord where you can talk to Staff and ranked/non ranked members, there is an unofficial discord server that many staff and players use, If you are looking for further Info, I might be able to help, or you could ask someone else as Im not that active rn.

That is true, but if we do get a speed gadget, and a donor hacks, then why not get an anti cheat?

Like I said, why not get an anticheat if people do hack? Also the purpose is : its a gadget, whats the purpose to a gadget? mainly having fun with it? even though we do have a warper , we could use it to get to a place faster, maybe it could be used for small mini games used in the lobby? maybe a mini race around that circle in the lobby.

Look if you want a discord there is an unofficial PZ one like @Achrylx said. I'm gonna be honest here too numbers on the teamspeak if you look into the past have gone down. Which isn't great so like it's being said what's the point if we aren't getting as many on team speak?

There's a lot of things you don't know about how the staff discord works. It's a staff discord for a reason, for staff to discuss and ask questions and work together to help make the experience on PZ as fun and helpful as possible. Adding regular users to this would defeat the purpose of working together to come up with unique ideas and surprises to gift to the players. As stated many times, just use the unofficial discord if you want one so badly.

In events and such, speed would become a major advantage against regular users. Flying is already a bit of an advantage, like Morphic stated, but adding speed would make it incredibly unfair and would give more profit to paying members.

There's a lot of scheduling issues at times. Lots of users are busy with school, and that includes staff. With Build Battles on Creative, it can be disruptive to the entire server as well, so it's annoying to those who don't want it all the time. If scheduling issues did occur, players are unfortunately known to get very upset and defensive over these events, so it's an unnecessary hassle to everyone involved. The scheduling is fine as it is right now.

I would just like to point out that, as someone who has staffed two different times on the server (2014 for a few months and then 2016-mid 2017) you would be astounded at the amount of ranked users I've encountered who use hacks. Just because you own a rank doesn't mean you're immediately smart enough to know not to use hacks, and I've had to personally handle several reports through the years of VIPS/VIPS+/ELITE's/ELITE+'s who use hacks (aimbot, speed, flying, etc. the list just goes on!).

There already is a gadget that launches you into the air, I don’t remember what it’s called but you get put into a cauldron then it launches you up. And if a rank turns off /fly they can just double space to fly up high, like the default rank.

A trampoline would be a fun little Easter egg like at the bottom of a long drop. Put it like behind Splatter or the huge mountain, just to people have to explore to find it.
