Hiya! Here's the story of my first experience on Creative! (as the title implies)
This is very long. If you managed to read the whole thing, congrats.
It was a very long time ago, when the only games I played on PZ was Murder and Freezetag. The reason I chose not to play on Creative was because I went on once and assumed that because all I saw around me was really good/detailed plots (I was near spawn) that all you do in Creative was admire other people's work. If you couldn't tell already, I didn't know how to claim a plot of my own. Then my brother's friend showed me his plot, and thats where the fun began...
My brother, his friend and I decided to make a mansion! It was going to be so fun. So the two of us got to work whilst my brother (being the only one with world edit
) chose to stand back and be lazy. By this time, it was night for me, and my brother and his friend went to bed. I stayed dedicated, and stayed up to complete the mansion. (interior and exterior) It took an extremely long time, but it was worth it. Even though it wasn't my plot, I definitely put the most work into it. So the mansion itself had a rollercoaster, a huge maze, a dining room, several swimming pools, like 6 floors altogether...okay...you get the idea. We played lots of hide and seek in this humongous mansion and even teleported other players around the network to play with us, which was very fun. There was a very inappropriate element in the mansion that can't be told XD so yeah, you get the idea, we loved it. I also remember when my brother's friend and I spent like an hour and a half digging a massive room underground! Looking back, I really wish we had just asked my brother or asked a player to help us with world edit.
A couple of weeks later, I was just playing on Murder, and my brother's friend told me that as I had put the most work into it, he chose to un-claim the plot so I could claim it...you can probably tell what happened next. When I went onto creative to claim the plot, someone else has claimed it. I couldn't believe it. All that hard work and dedication, down the drain. I just stood at the entrance, glaring at the spectacular mansion that was once my own. Several times, we all tried to find out (from players and staff) how it would be possible to get out mansion back, but it was no use, and the player who had claimed it was never seen again. It took me a very long time to get over this, but I did eventually. When I had finally accepted this,my brother's friend (coincidentally) messaged me at this time saying that he felt bad for causing me to lose the mansion. And he was working on a new one to try and make me feel better. All three of us worked long and hard on this new one, but in the process, it was griefed. I chose to move on from building mansions after this.
I then started a shop, filled with heads and banners. It was a huge success! But then my brother claimed all plots around mine and used his world edit to cover all of it, top to bottom, in obsidian, solely to ruin the aesthetics of my shop and cause lag for me. Some of the customers that I got asked me questions like "Do you ever get lag because of this?" and "Why is there all of this obsidian around your plot? Ew" and stuff like that. So my brother's plan was clearly working. He took it a step further and said in the chat "Hey, *** stole my plot
" which got me a ton of hate from players and even got me warned my staff. I was then getting people say things like "dude just give him his plot back" and "you don't even deserve to be VIP" Lets just say that no one wanted to go to my shop after that...
I then cleared my plots, removed ownership and left creative for a while. I later got Elite+ and claimed 3X3 plots and one next to that. I made a far better mansion than the ones before by myself and to be honest, I preferred this one over the others. I'm not going to go into detail, but it was pretty good. I then made a plot sized waterpark and a plot sized maze and a haunted house/mansion on my other plots. I needed something else to put on the plots. I thought and thought, but I eventually chose to make...a rollercoaster. I just made it as I went a long and added things that I would like to see in a rollercoaster and things that aren't really seen in others. When I let other people see it, they loved it! It was a huge success! From the whole time that it has been here, over 100 people have been on it, including helpers, mods, builders and even an admin. I had a lot of requests to make another one, so I did. It took just as long as the previous one, but once again, it was worth it.
This is where I am at now. I can't really talk about anything else, but I hope you enjoyed hearing about my experiences even though most of them weren't exactly the best. Congrats if you read the whole thing, it means a lot. If you want to see more of these, I can probably think of some more things (probably nice thing) if thats what you want. Overall, thanks for reading.
