I haven't been on the forums in quite a long time so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post this here, so let me know and I can delete this post if not.

In creative there is a command /marry where you can marry another player. This might sound crazy, but the issue is, you can only marry one player. I suggest we allow players to be able to have multiple spouses as it is more inclusive of other cultures who allow this.

I am proposing that the /marry command allows players to marry more than one player. Although players from American cultures assume marriage is between only two, other players from different cultures would be happy to see more inclusivity. And it's not like we're forcing players to marry more than one player.

I don't really know what to think of this!

I'm glad you want to include players from other cultures, but however, I have to disagree with the suggestion. I just don't see an actual reason why this should be implemented (besides including other cultures into PZ). Let's say this gets implemented, there has to be a limit somewhere. In some cultures (and trust me, there are a lot of cultures in my country that approves this) where an individual can marry over 20 people. Which in my opinion is a lot, we can't allow players to have a over 20 spouses just because a culture has it. If we've had multiple spouses in PZ, what would happen to the commands such as /set shipname, /mr etc.? Will we just add numbers to the commands such as /set shipname 7 [insert name], or /mr 13?

I know this is going off topic, but instead of multiple spouses, maybe we could lean over to a different relationship command, a /bff command perhaps? Then we'd have /marry, /bff and /friend. Where defaults get for example 5 bff's, and the limit expands the higher your rank is.

Thanks for the suggestion, but polygamy on PartyZone would pretty much just replace the friends list. Enough said.

This is a children's game with exactly zero need for relationships, -1.

The idea itself is a good idea but it's not for PZ, polyamory relationships are hardly not "wrong", loving two people is ok. Now, as it's already been mentioned, this would ruin the /friend *player* command and that would defuse the command itself.

Sorry but -1

It's not just "American cultures" that would see this in that way. It's against the law in many countries; like the UK, America, Canada and Austrailia, to name a few. This would also set a bad example. Therefore, I am voting -1.
