I am very outraged at the fact that the people who have purchased their names in murder a very few amount of times are no longer being shown Because of SwikScoupe/RocksAreHumans. He has purchased his name in murder Many Many times and now no one whos name was purchased a few amount of times are never shown anymore. Example: I have my name in 1 time but its very rare that I see it now. Please comment if anyone else has had this problem and I hope something will be done about this.

What are you suggesting is to be done about this? It's all done on chance, and they bought their chances. They can't just take their purchases away

People spent actual money on this, they deserve to have their name in murder more often if they spent tens even hundreds of dollars donating to the server.

I think there should be a limit for how many times you can buy your name (like 100) but whatevs it's their money not mine

Well sadly, that's just how the percentage is dispatched.
If you've purchased your name once, the chances are slim your username will get picked versus someone who recently bought a more expensive package. (Example, the 4x ones for 30.00)

I'm not going to deny that there has been a decrease in purchased usernames that happened lets say a few weeks ago then now, because there has been- but sadly that's just how the system works.

I only bought my name in murder once and it's been shown 1,000 times.

It's only rare if you've bought it once or twice, I think. Where as other people bought it almost 100 times.

Exactly. I've bought it once and it's been shown 18000 - 19000 times, some others buy once and have it shown only hundreds of times.

Nothing can be done. These users have physically paid money to the server for their name to be in murder and for the chances to be increased. While your name may not be chosen much, it's because there is a vast pool of names which can be chosen, which makes you have only a low percentage to be chosen. There isn't anything to fix this, the percentages increase or decrease depending on the other names percentages. It's just luck at this point, unless you buy it more.

I don't think they should put a limit on it because by buying their name in murder, they're helping the server stay active.

I mean in regards to op, its not like this wasn't bound to happen. Even if it wasn't one-two players buying a lot of chances, slowly each additional purchase decreases the chances of all others. If you think of it as a lottery, people who buy multiple tickets have a higher chance than you, however they also spent more overall. Its not like they removed your name from the system, its just that the probability of picking your ticket has decrease as more people have added their names. In the end its just a way for the server to raise donations to cover it's overhead, if you want your name to appear more, feel free to cough up the dough to increase your chances.

Like these two said, these users with higher chances with you have spent much more money on their names. There isn't really much that can be done about that. It's like Ted said with the lottery metaphor, say two players get a lot of lottery tickets, and you only get a few. Now, in the long run, they're much more likely to be chosen as a winner. But that's how it is; they've already spent their money on their chances, and now they get to keep them. The person who distributes out the lottery tickets can't just say, "oh sorry guys, some of the people who have less chances than you would really like a better chance to win, so I'm going to have to take some of your tickets and entries out", because that's not how it works.

Your name will still appear in the game. I bought my name over a year and a half ago or so and my name's been used over 50k times and I only have it in two times so far. There's only two solutions at this point: you can either understand that they've earned their right to have their name used a lot, or you can buy more of your name in murder so that you can have it appear more.

There is nothing that can be done, They wanted to spend money, to help the server, it's not about getting your name in murder, they wanted to donate to help the server with hosting it etc.

Murder was changed so that people who bought many names would appear less often than in every game - But still often enough to justify their purchases. This allows others with their name in the game to be shown most of the time.

As everyone else has said already, this is because of the fact that they've spent their money to purchase murder names. Of course your name is going to be shown less if you've only bought it once, versus someone who has bought it 100 times. If they were to change it so the people who have their name in once get shown every game, and those who buy it 100 times get shown once in a blue moon, wouldn't that make those who spent far more on the names be cheated out of their money unfairly?

but shouldnt they make the chances of someone with 1 or 2 names in murder be able to appear more often? though buying it like 100 times has happened a couple times in the past, its really just kind of unfair and pointless buying it at this point because the more people that buy it the less its worth.

I think there IS indeed a limit. I think the limit is you can't buy it more than 100 times.
