Hey, I have been part of your community ever since I got Minecraft. I love all the hard work you guys have been doing. I was wondering if you could add text colors for maybe Elite and higher because it would be a fun colorful thing, and it would make the chat more interesting.
 
No, this is a feature for helpers and up and MY EYES ARE GOING TO DIE (not really) but i have to -1
 
This is a staff perk only, it’s used to announce things in chat and catch players attention. Also chat would be very messy, sorry. Aswell as the fact people could easily abuse this.

As stated above, it is for staff to announce important things in chat so that players can see it in a cluttered chat. If Elites and above had this, it would make messages from staff harder to read, and players could say things like, "Well, you never told me that!" if they didn't see an important message. I will be voting -1.

I've been on servers that allow colored chat for ranks, and the chat can get extremely messy. The staff eventually had to tell everyone not to overuse the colors, which made some people upset because they paid for that perk. It just makes more sense not to bother with it in the first place.

Colored chat for signs is to show that a sign is from a staff member. Giving elites this could lead people to believe an elite was just joking around with them.
 
To add to this, staff members only use colored chat for PZ related events, and to make sure that people can see it above everyone else talking. It is not to be abused in any other way. On signs, people could impersonate staff members, which is something we don’t want.
