Some murder signs are currently broken or glitched, and that may be why you're running into this issue.
As said above, try clicking a different sign, despite them all to appear to be broken, there are a few that work.
However, since you are an Elite+, you can play our beta Murder instead if this problem keeps reoccurring.
You can do this by typing /joinbeta BetaMurder1.
