I hurt inside, more than anyone can know. People have spread a reputation about me, a reputation that I don't want. I decide to look behind the mask and see the true people. I find masks on my own friends. I see the real them.
I thought people would care about me. I thought people would actually listen. I'm dying inside and nobody I thought would help can help me. I try to tell people but they just shove me away.
There are a few real people on the internet though, and I thank them far beyond what they know. There are a who are trustworthy.. a few who listen.. a few who care..
Please just say your goodbyes. I don't wish my leaving to become a controversy between players.

Just because we were formally staff doesn't mean we still have to act like a staff member and keep up a good reputation. When you are staff you have to be basically "fake" in some cases. Life is definitely not all rainbows and unicorns, some people may see it as that but I don't. Sorry to be so negative but it is my view. Now that we aren't staff, it means that we don't have to always be so positive. There are PLENTY of negative things in this world. Being staff previously does not change anything. As Emerald said, this is who I am now and in fact I've always been this way, just keeping to myself. Being staff obviously had to hold that back but i threw my mod tag in the trash so that doesn't matter, LOL! I don't know about other former staff members, but I myself have no intent in keeping a good reputation or positive attitude if it involves me not being true to myself. I'm not going to put on an act just to make people like me. If you personally knew me, then you would know that I do make many sarcastic statements, no tea no shade tho

Aka they aren't afraid of saying the truth. It doesn't mean anything else more than that.
Also, for anyone saying that it's a flame war, how? It's just pointing out the obvious, nobody's really arguing.
Why does it matter if the old staff members are being rude, it's a forums not real life. I'm sorry I have to point this out but if you're hurting because of what jebb said and he use to be a mod, then sorry. Anyways have a good time away from MCPZ we'll miss you.
As a previous staff member, I feel like I have a right to make this comment. Nothing I'm about to say has anything to do with emerald or him leaving, I wish him well.
As a previous staff member of nearly 2 years, I can tell you that being a staff member is not everything you think it is. PZ has secrets, PZ has things behind the scenes that you don't know and never will know about. Some staff NOW don't even know these secrets. I'm sure there are many even I don't know. A lot of people apply for helper and think it will be a wonderful, enjoyable experience and for a lot of people it is, but there are some times where you DO have to do things you don't want to. There are times where you DO have to bite your tongue and hold back what you ACTUALLY want to say to someone. I can tell you for sure that no current staff member could say all of what I'm saying without getting in trouble, heck I'm not even sure I can say it without getting in trouble. What I'm saying is, don't assume anything about anyone because of what you see from what they post on the forums. Lots of staff members would clap back or say rude things too if they could, but they're not allowed to. We are all saying the things that some of us have been waiting to call people out for for years. If YOU become a staff member, stay for two years and go through everything me and my friends went through on this server, THEN you can come to me about some "hmm wonder what that means."
With that, I think this thread is literally just causing problems and should probably be locked. Emerald, good luck in your future and I hope everything works out for you.

As previously stated, staff members are unable to express how they feel about certain things sometimes to remain professional, as you would in any real life job. Although there is a difference between now being able to express your opinions on something and being rude.
