I'm going to get straight to the point.

I'm ripping this game off of Roblox.

It's called "Breaking Point" and it's personally one of my favorite games on Roblox currently (I don't play that much lol). It's a collection of 3-4 (last I checked) minigames that involve strategy and planning. All players sit around a table (restricting movement) in a dark room with one spotlight shining on the table. The table can change shape based on the player count and minigame.

If you're concerned about this not being original, worry not! I have not seen this done in any Minecraft network before. I've only seen it on Roblox. (Yes, technically it's still original by PZ's standards. They say Murder was an original game because no one had done it on a network on Minecraft before, only GMod and Roblox!)

The rounds in each minigame go by fairly quickly. The way Roblox handles it is the winner of each minigame receives a coin bonus (and players who lose get coins based on how long they lived or how many kills they got) and the servers stay open forever, allowing players to join and leave as they wish. If the Developers don't want to do this, the winner could be determined by the player who won the most minigames in a set number of minigames.

  • Breaking Point
    • Named after the title of the game, this one is one of my favorites. Each round, a random player is given a gun and the option to kill in public or in secret. If they choose to kill in secret, the lights are turned off for that round. After choosing how to kill, the player chooses one person to shoot. Sometimes, the gun can be jammed and fail for that round (the voice-over text will say "the gun jammed!"). Thus, if a player chooses to kill in secret and fails, their identity is safe. When two players remain, they fight to the death with a sword. The last player standing wins the minigame.
    • Alliances can be formed in this specific minigame, which is why you have the option to kill in secret so if you kill someone's teammate, they won't know who did it. (This is optional, but recommended because of the option to kill in secret)
  • Duck Duck Stab
    • This is similar to Duck Duck Goose. Each round, a random player stands up from their chair and chooses a player to attack. The chooser walks around the table (voice-over text says "duck" for each person) until they reach the back of the victim's chair (then it says "goose!"). The victim stands up and the two of them fight with a sword until one player dies. (Time limit is around 15-20 seconds to keep things moving.) The survivor returns to their seat and the next round begins. When two players remain, they fight to the death with a sword. The last player standing wins the minigame.
  • Murderer
    • In this minigame, no one moves from their seats. One player is assigned the role of Murderer and receives a gun hidden from everyone else. Each round, the lights will be turned off and the Murderer will choose someone to kill. The gun can sometimes get jammed, preventing someone from dying (the voice-over test will say "the gun jammed!"). After the gun is fired (or jammed), the lights turn on and everyone votes on who they think is the Murderer. The player with the most votes dies regardless of their role. If the Murderer survives, the next round begins. Play continues until the Murderer kills all but one player (since the next round is a guaranteed win) or the Murderer is voted out and is killed.
  • Hot Potato
    • This one's a bit different. Simply put, each round, a potato is given to a random player. The player must look at a player and click to pass the potato to them. After a certain amount of time, the potato will explode, killing the player holding it. A new potato is dropped, and play continues until there are two players left. They can either play 2-man-hot-potato or simply fight with swords. That's up to the developers. The winner is the last man standing.
  • Death Vote (NEW)
    • The name might be incorrect, but this new minigame was recently added to the Roblox version of the game.
    • Similar to Duck Duck Stab. When each round starts, players will point to vote on who should fight. The two players with the most votes will fight to the death, and so on. Play continues until two players remain, and they fight. The last player standing wins.
  • Other Minigames
    • Obviously, other minigame ideas can be implemented. These are just the ones from the current version of Breaking Point on Roblox.
  • Cosmetics
    • The game on Roblox rewards players with coins based on how long they survived in the game. A coin bonus is given to the winner. A shop exists in which players can buy cosmetic items such as sword skins, gun skins, and chair skins. Typically they buy them in the form of crates which give the players a random skin from the crate. Players can trade skins if they wish (doesn't have to be implemented).
  • Disguises
    • This doesn't have to be mandatory, but it should definitely be an option. In the Roblox version, players can choose to disguise themselves as a nondescript character (it just gave them default body parts and random colors for clothes and a random hair piece). This reduces the chance of one player being targeted by others.
  • Private messages will be disabled to prevent ghosting.
Let me know what you think! I personally really enjoy this game and it can be quite hilarious at times. I'd love to see this added to PartyZone.

No offence, but I don't think that these are the kind of games that would attract players to party zone, sorry :)

Lol we need to actually keep players too, not just attract them

I'd play PZ way more if this was here. Instead, if I want to play this game, I'd head over to Roblox instead of Minecraft.

This takes more strategy than Murder. Besides, the goal is to be the last one standing, so there really aren't any teams like Bystanders vs. Murderer. I get what you're saying, though, and there is some truth to that.

If we were to add them, we should only add one.
They're all extremely similar to eachother in nature, and just one will do.

I take it you haven't tried playing it.

BURN! (sorry leaving now lol)

But yeah, they may be similar @Kraetys, but they are all different in a lot of ways, which makes and breaks each minigame in different audiences. That's the upside and the downside to it. I like the idea greatly. +1.
