Granted yes, I can't play on the server (Yet) I see absolutely no Downsides to this, Sometimes people don't know about the f3 debug commands.
Tbh the button is finicky across systems, and even then not well known.I dont think they shouldn't add this, becouse, like @Niixonn said. There is a button thingy (idk english) to just look at it in your inv. This way its easier to look for the ID, and it wont cost any trouble for the Developers.
I still like the idea though.
Like I said. Its my opinion.Tbh the button is finicky across systems, and even then not well known.
It's just as easy to use a command, if not easier, and something like this is really easy to design.
All apple computers are the same, and apple is amazing. What type of computer are you using?
For windows desktop it's f3+h
For Windows laptop it's fn+f3+h
For Apple desktop it's Fn+f3+h
For apple laptop idk apples suck
Try alt+fn+f3+h if all else fails
Isnt it that you cannot double post? Also I think this would be good, maybe even a GUI? Not sure if it will create more lag though.
A command would be much more simple than a GUI.Also I think this would be good, maybe even a GUI? Not sure if it will create more lag though.
The reason I did //blockid was because it did help you with world edit, however, I do see your point. It could be just /blockid or /id, any of the three commands would be ok as long as it did what the main idea is.Hey,
Personally I like the idea- But I wouldn't set the command to "//" as that is a world-edit based command and would just be better off as just "/blockid" or even just "/id". I agree with over users saying how you could just hit F3 and H but personally coming from a building point of view you may want to get an ID like e.g. "Floating water" or "6 Sided piston", So I would be a handy tool to use but if the command could not or isn't as useful like that then I wouldn't see the point in it as then you could just use the default implement ID viewer.
