"OK, so.. Across here is where Sora is?" Gray mumbled, not moving his head to look at Max.
"Yeah, he's on the next island." Max gulped.
"A bridge, huh?" Alteca rubbed his head. "It must be long if it reaches another island..."
"You can see the island in the distance. It's OK. Won't take long." Gray started walking across the bridge ahead of Max and Alteca. Max ran a bit ahead to catch up to Gray, while Alteca began to power walk a bit to catch up to them both.
Once across the bridge, Max breathed a sigh of relief. The bridge seemed to go on forever.
Gray and Alteca had already started walking.
"H-Hey, Wait up!" Max ran after them.
Max, Alteca, and Gray walked past 4 gates, which were each guarding a bridge that must have lead to another, separate island. They also walked past a mountain that looked like Mount Rushmore, but with Monokuma instead - eventually, they reached an opening which they believed lead to the park. Once walking inside, they found Sora gazing up at a bronze statue.
He turns around.
"Oh, Looks like you made it. Quicker than I thought. Where's the others?"
"Raven's gone to get them." Alteca moves closer to the statue and looks up at it.
"What's that thing, anyway?" Gray also looks at the statue, but from behind Alteca and Sora. Max does this, also.
"Who knows? Deities? Gods? Guardians? Who knows." Sora's eyes hung down, as if he had been staring at the sun for too long.
"Have you found anything else on the island?" Alteca looks at Sora, who is still gazing up at the bronze statue.
"Yep... I found that Monomi thing here. She told me Monokuma was gonna be back soon and that I should gather everyone here 'cause he's got something to tell us."
"Monokuma has something to tell us?" Max looked around. The park was completely empty apart from the four of them, and the statue.
"Did she tell you how long it would be?" Gray looked over Alteca's shoulder.
"No. I'm guessing once everyone's here, he'll come.."
"Probably the case. I don't like him." Gray sneered.
"Nobody likes him. It's sketchy." Sora hadn't looked away from the statue. "Y'know.. This is like one of those video games. Foreshadowing. The statue. It's foreshadowing something. I can tell."
"Foreshadowing..?" Max touched the statue. It had been polished and was in perfect condition, even though the nameplate of the statue stated how old the statue was.... old.
"....Yeah, can't you see? There's, what, four, maybe five if you count the soldier, things on this statue, and excluding the soldier, they're all animals.. Maybe they are guardians or something. There's.. five islands isn't there? From the gates.."
"You saw them too, then, the gates to the other islands.." Alteca also reached forward and touched the statue, then stepped back.
"You're probably right.. It's probably something to do with the islands.. This isn't a vacation. There's something going on."
"yO!" Raven chopped Max on the back of the head.
"Oh, seems you've arrived... Late..."
"There was a time limit?!" Raven looked at Sora, deeply confused. Sora sneered.
"God, you didn't have to drag us here like our lives depended on it..!" Tabitha folded her arms.
"Well, she may have had a point, if that's the ca--"
"YOU DRAGGED ME AWAY FROM MY COFFEE!" All of a sudden, Luna was up in Sora's face.
"Oh.. Sorry?" Sora smiled at her.
"Sorry!? SORRY!? I finally found the perfect way to make it with all of that fancy stuff in the restaurant, and all of a sudden I'm rushed here!"
"Great." Gray talked out of one side of his mouth
Everybody else soon followed.
Kaya, Kanna, Alexia, Etsuko, Whisp, Chiaro, and Niji.
Soon, Monokuma appeared with Monomi.
"Hello, Students, Have you settled in to your killing school life yet!?"
"Killing... School Life..!?" Alteca stepped forward slightly.
"Hm? Monomi? Do they not know?"
"Th-This school trip should be for friendships- Making friends! Not killing! It's the Super Duper Lovey Dovey School Trip!"
[Monokuma makes a gagging noise]
"How beautiful. Truly. Trust me.." Monokuma said doubtfully.
"It is!" Monomi fell for it.
"This isn't what I'm here for!" Monokuma snapped. "Sister, if you don't stop ruining this.. I'll.."
"You'll what!?"
"Gyaaaah! There's no way I can avoid that!"
"Damn straight! Don't try to while I'm introducing them to their motive!"
Monomi is blasted into the distance.
"Alright, first of all, I'm going to introduce you to the monobeasts... I heard you talking about those gates, and I know you'll try getting through them.. So the monobeasts will protect them."
All of a sudden, the statue began to move. The bronze on the statue cracked and turned into metal, which, when the full animals were revealed, showed them as robots. Each animal was a robot, and the park's statue replaced itself with a round ball on a large metal pole. The ball resembled Monokuma, and the ball also had a countdown on it. It counted down Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. Everyone looked up at it in complete bemused horror (except for Luna, who just looked as if to say 'is this for real? This isn't original at all')

The monobeasts each wandered off to their designated gate, much to the terrified faces of the students.
"Ok, so, since my idiot of a sister hasn't explained it to you well.. You're all taking part in this. One way or another... The Killing School Life!"
"Killing school life.. Explain.." Everyone's foreheads dripped with sweat.
"Oh, Ok. Let me explain, then... You're all trapped here... Unless one of you kills another one of you!"
"Wait, what.. That makes no sense! Why the hell would we do that!?" Luna snapped, pushing her way between Etsuko and Whisp.
"Because... If you'd let me finish... If one of you kills someone, you'll be released from this island, and everyone else will be punished for not being able to identify you as the killer! However, if you kill someone and are found, you'll be punished and everyone else will stay on this island but be left untouched! Does that help?"
"And why the hell would we do that!?" Niji stepped forward.
"...Hmm, well.. if I gave you some motives..!"
"M-Motives.." Kanna started stuttering. "Why... Why motives.. Why.. Why would we kill each other!?"
"To get out of here, of course! Weren't you listening!? OK. I'm gonna throw your first motive out there! Come and get it.. HAAAAAAAAA...."

Luna was the first one to reach down, then Raven, Tabitha, Etsuko, Gray, Sora, Alteca, Kanna, Alexia, Kaya, Whisp, Niji, Chiaro, and Max.
Whisp opened her pamphlet. Each piece of paper had writing on it;
"The writing on those pieces of paper is strictly forbidden from being talked about. You're all under surveillance, so you can't tell each other what was on yours... Happy hunting!"
Everybody stared down at their paper in complete horror.
What was on each piece of paper? I guess we'll find out once the first killing starts.

"Is this really true..?" Max thought, looking down at their paper.
'Gray uses his hacking techniques to scout all of you so that he could put you all on this island. His whole demeanour is a façade, and really he is the mastermind behind the whole thing.'
Raven walked up to Max and tugged at their sleeve. Max looked up. The park was completely deserted apart from those two. Raven's eyes seemed like they had been drained of life.
"We should leave. It's late.. We should go back to the rooms.." Raven's hand held her piece of paper in her hand. It had been scrunched up. Max looked down at their paper one more time. Each paper was about a different person..
"That bear just wants to turn us all against each other." Raven took the paper from Max's hands, to their surprise. She scrunched it up in to a ball and placed it back in Max's hands.
"Don't listen to it." Raven tried to scrunch up her paper more.
"...W-Whose was yours about..?" Max looked at Raven's back as she began walking away from the park. "Mine was.. About Gray..."
"...Mine was about you... I'm sorry, but.. When this is over, I'll tell you what it said, but.."
"I understand.. Just.. Raven..?" Max looked up from their piece of paper. "...Wait for me. I don't wanna walk back to my room alone." Max smiled a bit at Raven, who smiled back. They began walking back to the hotel.
