"...Despair..?" Niji looked over at the bear standing on the teacher's desk. Half black, half white.
"Monokuma?! Ok, stop playing around-" Luna got up off the desk again and folded her arms.
"Oh, I'm not playing around!" The bear's face was half grinning, half smiling. It was hard to tell which manner he was talking in - evil or friendly.
"Then where the hell is the teacher!? I'm not here to mess around!"
"I am the teacher. I'm here to welcome you to your new class, Ultimate Paradise, but if you're not going to let me talk, I can keep you all in here until you starve, it wouldn't be as much fun, but.."
"Luna, Shut up." Sora looked over at Luna sharply. Tabitha was gagging at Sora's hair.
"...Ultimate paradise?" Kaya looked terrifed, sweat poured down the group's foreheads.
"What do you mean.. Paradise? We're at school.." Alexia's hands gripped the surface of the glossy desk, "We're attending Hope's Peak.. You're a bear.. Not a teacher..."
"It may look like that, but really it's nooooot! Don't believe what you see so easily- Oh! Look at the time."
"12pm" Etsuko looked down at her watch. Whisp, beside her, looked like she was falling asleep but fear kept her awake.
"Hm. I guess I'll have to get a substitute, actually... Maybe.. It's risky, but if she actually does it right.." Monokuma mumbled to himself.
"What's he mumbling about?" Max looked terrified, as if the bear was Godzilla. "Who is 'She'..?"
Monokuma snapped back.
"HEY! LITTLE SISTER!"
"Yes, big brother?" A bunny, half white half pink appeared on the teacher's desk beside Monokuma suddenly. Whatever it is, it looked terrified.
"Another one!? It's crying-" Tabitha snapped back.
"...How does it cry like that-" Alteca stood up from the desk.
At this point, the girls, Kaya, Kanna, Alexia, Etsuko, and Whisp stood up too.
Everybody was standing, and waiting in terrified anticipation.
Monokuma let out a huge sigh.
"I have to go class! Got some issues outside of school, so this is your substitute.. until further notice. If you do good, sis, maybe you can stay in charge of the class for longer."
"Y-Yes.. Of course.."
Monokuma disappeared with a "Poof"!
"W-What the hell!?" Luna put her hands on the teacher's desk forcefully. "Why the hell are two kids toys talking?! You're a rabbit!"
"Well, yeah I'm a rabbit! I'm Magical Miracle Girl Usami! A.K.A, Usami!"
"Usami!?" Sora stood up. "Stop with the crap, what the hell is going on!"
"You're the freshmen that are going to take part in the Super Duper Lovey Dovey Ultimate Paradise School Trip! A.K.A, The Lovey Dovey School Trip!"
"Lovey dovey.. What!?" Gray stood behind his desk's chair, gripping the back of the chair. "No way.."
"Wait.. Wait, just explain first--!" Raven reached her hand out to stop Usami-
"Shall we get started!?"
"Wait- What!?" Kanna grabbed hold of Kaya's and Alexia's sleeves.
"Aaaaaaaaand.. Let's go!"
Suddenly, the classroom walls began to fall down...
To reveal a beach.
A tropical beach.
The sea was a beautiful crystal blue.
Nothing more than a crystal sky and a beautiful, pristine sandy beach littered with palm trees.
"Wha-wha-wha---- WHAAAAAT!?" Luna looked around sharply.
"No way.. No way.." Niji and everyone else's foreheads dripped with sweat.
"No, this isn't real.." Kanna looked around her.
Kaya and Alexia couldn't move.
"Wait, what.. we were.. in the classroom.." Alteca's hands shook.
"Ok. I am done-" Sora took a step back.
"...Where... are we.." Chiaro folded her arms around herself.
"I'll be giving these out.. These are your classroom virtual books. Call them VBs! When you learn more about your classmates, their information appears there! The aim of this school trip is to get to know each other better, and to bond and develop your relationships! That's the aim of the Super Duper Lovey Dovey Ultimate Paradise School Trip!"
"...W-Wait.. what.." Max looked down at the VB. "What.."
"Twin..Girl.." Etsuko looked over at Whisp with terrified eyes, who replied "Twin-Girl.."
"Dammit, what the hell-" Luna's hands shook with the VB in her hands.
Alteca put his head in his hands. Niji's looked around at everyone and at their terrified expressions.
"Hey.."
"Hey..."
"Can you hear me?"
Max lay weakly on the floor. Above her loomed Raven, who seemed to be kneeling over her.
"..I know we're all confused, since we all got.. into this situation."
Raven helped Max get up. They seemed about the same, smaller height.
"Are you OK? You seemed to be out of it when those Virtual things got given out." Raven had a look of concern on her face.
"I'm.. not feeling too good." Max's face was completely pale.
Raven put her hand on Max's shoulder.
"You do look pale."
"...So do you." Max cracked a smile.
"Hey- this is just my normal skin tone!" She jokingly punched Max's shoulder.
"Wait.. Where is everyone? Where did they go?" Max looked around. The beach was completely deserted, haha see what i did there They were the only ones there.
"Everybody else went on to explore the island, they were talking about places to stay, food, water.. You fainted just before, so those girls.. I think it was Etsuko, Kanna, and Kaya. Whisp and Alexia were seeing to Chiaro, who had a bit of a breakdown too. I told them I'd wait here until you woke up while they went on to explore.. It's better to explore in a larger group."
"Yeah.. I know what you mean. Do you know where they went?"
"Not exactly. They split off in groups. They went both ways, and by the looks of things there's a bridge to another island over there. I saw Sora go across it alone, so maybe we could go around the other places first, but.. I was wondering something."
"..Hm? What is it?"
"What's your talent?"
"My.. Talent... I.."
Max suddenly began to shake. His face flushed a pale colour again.
"Hey," Raven put her hand on Max's shoulder and put her finger on the bottom of his chin and lifted his head up to look at her, "You can't remember either, huh?"
"Wait- 'too'?"
"I can't remember either. There's two others who can't remember either.. Etsuko and Chiaro. It might have something to do with the fact you and Chiaro both had a bit of a breakdown, but Etsuko and I didn't, so who knows. Anyway, we've already took a look at some of the crap on the beach. Look,"
As Max looked around, he saw that there was a monitor and a surveillance camera.
"A monitor and a camera.. Is it recording?"
"Gray took a look at it.. It's not, apparently."
"How does he know?"
"I don't know. He literally snapped out of any confusion as soon as he saw them and took a pretty good look at them, so he probably knows what he's doing."
"I guess so.."
"Apparently we're going to meet up in a while. Alteca is going to come fetch all of us to go to a certain place once everywhere's been explored, so we should get going. But from what Gray, Sora, and Niji said, the Camera doesn't seem to be recording. We think it's just for our safety, but that's going unsolved, I guess."
"...Thank you for waiting behind for me.. and.. catching me up on all of this."
"It's no problem. Anyway, since we're all introduced, I think we should go look around too. let's go right."
