"What..? Max.. Is it.." Kanna rubbed sweat from her forehead, before being interrupted by a large amount of 'click!'s
The wristbands containing the poison fell to the ground below everyone's feet. Everybody looked on, in awe, that their dilemma was over. Niji came out from the corner (trying to avoid physical contact with everyone).
"...It's over." Niji looked over at Max's body, hanging limply from the bedposts. "...Because of this?"
"Who.. Who the hell did this!? I swear to god, I'll--" Sora shoved past Etsuko, who was wearing My Little Pony pyjamas, before stopping and looking at Max's body in the same way everyone else was. His jaw dropped.
"It's happened again. Again. After Kaya and Tabitha. Why.." Sora paused. "WHO THE HELL IS THIS STUPID!?"
"..I don't know what's going on.. but.. we should find out what the hell is going on.. for Max, right?" Kanna smilled through her teary eyes. Sora nodded, and closed his mouth.
Alteca stood looking at Max's body for a while.
Gray and Sora were in the bathroom, seeing to Luna, who they had untied.
Chiaro suddenly appeared at the door.
"A-Alteca!" Chiaro breathed heavily.
"Hm? Chiaro? Did you find--"
"Raven! Alexia..!" Chiaro walked inside, trying not to look at the body.
"Raven and Alexia..!?" Alteca turned to Niji quickly. "Niji. Go with Chiaro."
Niji began to walk out of the cottage before turning back around to Alteca. He grabbed his shoulder and turned him around.
"Alteca, will you be--"
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. We're looking for who killed Max. There's nothing to worry about right now other than this," Alteca smiled at Niji, "Now, go see what's happened,"
Niji nodded, walking out of the cottage to Chiaro. They walked to Etsuko's cottage, where Etsuko and Whisp were inside. Niji walked inside of the cottage.
"Smart-Boy! Look!" Etsuko ushered Niji in her direction. She was seeing to Alexia, who looked just as tired as Alteca.
"Alexia! Are you OK?" Niji knelt down to talk to Alexia, who was on a portable bed. Next to her lay Raven, with her hood up, who was still unconscious.
"...That was the best sleep I've ever... had.." Alexia talked like she was intoxicated. She began falling to her side, falling asleep again.
"No! Converse-girl! Stay awake!" Etsuko shook Alexia's shoulders as her eyes opened wide yet again. Peering over his shoulder, Niji looked at Whisp, who was supposed to be seeing to Raven. Whisp had fallen asleep on a stool beside the portable bed, and was slowly scraping her back along the bookcase behind her, getting ever closer to the ground. Niji got up and propped Whisp gently back up on her stool, making sure she wouldn't fall this time.
"Smart-Boy." Etsuko kept shaking Alexia's shoulders to keep her awake. Niji looked over at Etsuko to see what she wanted. "Mono-Bear came by and gave us this. Mono-Bear said Mono-Bear put it in Hoodie-Girl and Converse-Girl to keep Hoodie-Girl and Converse-Girl asleep." Etsuko handed Niji a vile with a cork in the top. Niji unscrewed the cork, and sniffed the purple liquid inside the vile. Niji doubled back from the strong odour. He blinked to regain his sight. He noticed a small label on the vile.
"It is strong." Etsuko nodded after seeing to Alexia once more. Niji screwed the cork back in to the top of the vile.
"He gave them this to make them stay asleep for so long.. I'll give this to Alteca. Thank you." Niji nodded. "Is it OK if I go back to the cottage?"
"Huh? Oh! Yes! Don't worry! Twin-girl and Etsuko know what they're doing!" Niji couldn't help but think 'no, they don't..'
Niji headed out of the cottage with the vile. Looking in the direction of Max's cottage, he saw Sora and Gray with Luna on the ground. She was still tied up.
"..Gray? Sora? You havn't untied her yet?"
"Oh.. Uhm.. Alteca had to look at the knot.. and everything else.. first.. Uhhh.."
"...*gulp*"
"Gray.. Sora.. What's going on," Niji looked down at them sternly.
"OKOKOK! DON'T KILL US!" Gray put his hands together and closed his eyes, looking up at Niji.
"We don't wanna remove the duct tape!" There was duct tape over Luna's mouth, Sora continued, "She'll kill us if she wakes up...!"
Alteca emerged from the cottage behind Niji. He instantly knelt down and ripped the duct tape off of Luna's mouth. She still didn't wake up.
Gray and Sora looked at Alteca in awe.
"She hasn't had coffee in a while," Alteca examined the duct tape. "She's just as bad as Raven and Alexia right now." Alteca walked back in to the cottage.
"...H-Here, I'll help you untie her." Niji also knelt down to untie Luna. Her wrists and hands were tied tightly, aswell as her ankles and feet.
After untying her, they sat her up.
"You two wait out here until she wakes up, yeah?.... Actually, could you guys carry her down to Etsuko's cottage? Gray, could you come back up here to help and Sora, could you help Etsuko and Whisp?" Niji stood up.
"Yeah, Sure." Sora and Gray lifted Luna up and began carrying her down to Etsuko's cottage.
Niji walked back inside Max's cottage.
Alteca was taking pictures of Max's body, and the knots Max was suspended by. The knife wound - etc.
"Alteca.." Niji moved behind Alteca. "Once you're done.. Can we let Max down?"
"That's why I'm taking the pictures, so that we have images of the evidence. I don't want Max to hang there any longer, either." Alteca knelt down and took a picture of Max's face. "Can you help me lower them? That was the last picture I needed to take."
Niji and Alteca untied the knots suspending Max's body.
They lay Max in the middle of the floor.
"I've already taken pictures of any evidence on the floor, so.. Max should be OK here."
[P.O.V NIJI]
I was entrusted to examine Max's body.
As revolting as it is to examine your friend's body.
Dead body, if that helps.
I knelt down beside Max's body. I began to notice peculiar things all over Max's body. I'll list them.

I remembered the vile that Etsuko gave me.
I took it from my pocket. I went to sit down on the bloodied couch, but then I noticed. It's evidence, and I'm an even bigger idiot than I give myself credit for.
I went to the corner and leant on the wall. I began to read the label.

I smelled the odour. It was strong - I'm guessing it gives off a gas, which is what it's talking about.
I don't like that. I don't like it at all.
Extremely poisonous if not applied in a correct environment? Monokuma gave it to Raven and Alexia. That terrifies me, trying to believe that they'll both be OK if he's the one who gave it to them.
But we have one thing. One definite thing,
Luna. If she remembers who attacked her, then we'll have the person who killed Max.
Or maybe.. Max attacked her? Then someone attacked Max, and didn't see Luna?
