It's been about a year (11 months) since my last complaint post, ever since I have made the old post I have seen almost no changes happen whatsoever in the MCPZ community. I would like to add that this is my opinion and everyone's opinion matters.

Goodie Bags
I came back a month ago to find out that both my Gadgets and Ingame items that I earned through buying the VIP rank with Real life currency were gone.
The addition of Goodie Bags was nice and all but it made a lot of people lose their gadgets and hats, moreover, I will speak about my experience with this change. I had bought all the hats in the game available to a VIP ranked member unlocked/purchased in Murder. My friend had around 17. When the change happened I got a total of 69 and my friend has 53 now. Not only that, VIP only hats that I had are now free to everyone, where is the purpose of having something special now? It doesn't help you ingame in any way by wearing a hat so there is no reason to complain if they are only for donators.
To sum up, it's nice to have Goodie Bags and let people who are active and haven't necessarily bought a rank get things in luck for all minigames by just playing the minigames but donors deserve to keep what they paid for.

Rules and Staff Communication
It's a very-well known fact that the rules are really unclear and it is many people's opinion that the staff isn't the best at doing their job.
The rules have no real place to be found inside the game (Murder) and they need to be re-written. As you definitely know of this server consists of many really young aged audiences in between the ages of 9-12. Also, this server consists of MANY italians and a simplified english version of the rules would also help. Moreover, you do not mention which rules that are broken are bannable or not and it's a huge hustle filled with confusion for everyone. As previously mentioned in my old article not many people even know these rules exist and not many people would do /rules to see. Adding a rule book *as suggested 11 months ago -.-* wouldn't be hard AT ALL and letting people know the punishments will ALSO be helpful. I always knew that randoming is not bannable. When asking staff all I ever got was a message "We cannot share this information". It may be against the rules but how am I supposed to be convinced that I shouldn't do it.
Secondly, I won't talk that much about staff but specifically about communication in between them. For years staff were also unaware about the rules that much. I am sure if you ask some helpers at least the 10% of them might not know a rule exactly and there is really a big difference in the way staff act. I've sworn in front of staff a lot of times yet I never really got muted and I rarely even got warnings whereas I've seen other people get muted really easily and I am pretty sure the community has noticed that aswell. Either I deserve to have been muted(most likely) or they just mustn't be muted this easily. I am just some random person coming and going so you can't really say I am staff's favorite, I've also done a lot of bad things in PZ so you can't really say they favorited me but there is no actual plan for many staff.
Lastly, concerning Xray and Ghosting. It is my belief that both should be bannable. You can't really know and differ that easily if someone is Xraying or Ghosting. With good communication ghosting becomes as easy and effective as xraying. Staff say they have a way to spot X-rayers but with Ghosting allowed it is just really hard. Moreover, ghosting happens and in a really obvious manner every day that it's just not funny anymore. There is no other way to prevent it from happening. At least the most obvious forms of ghosting (a message by someone saying it's [name] and then a picture of the game finish which should be enough proof of someone ghosting) should be able to resort into a person getting banned. However this doesn't necessarily mean they can get perma-banned and this doesn't mean they need to get banned off of the server completely.

TL;DR

  • The implementation of Goodie Bags made tons of Donors lose what they payed for.
  • The rules are written formally and hard to read for some foreigners/young audiences.
  • There is no eminent place for rules in each gamemode to be found.
  • Staff need to have a better communication and knowledge of proceedures that are needed before punishing
  • Xray and Ghosting should both be bannable.

How to fix this
  1. Give everyone their perks back (hats, gadgets etc).
  2. Implement a rule book for each gamemode-mini game with their rules written and the punishments that come along. Alternatively, make the rules on the website less formal and make them easier to notice.
  3. You should inform staff the proceedures they need to follow before muting/banning anyone.
  4. Xray and Ghosting becomes bannable. - Staff and players' lives become way easier.
Lastly, I will state again that this is my opinion and that it would be really nice for these problems to be dealt with. Also I would love to hear everyone's opinion and see the higher staff take action. Have a nice day everyone <3

I believe this should probably be posted here, under the feedback tag.
I do not really want to make this a staff/server feedback post, I want everyone to be able to express theirselves on how they feel about this and I prefered to post this in General as I believe many people go here and it would help the post to be spread out faster and easier

A lot of people post in suggestions, posts like these will get feedback in suggestions, because that’s it purpose. You can express yourself and your true opinions in suggestions as well, as that’s the point. Maybe I’m wrong though.

@Nashhii ?

Xray and Ghosting should both be bannable.
X-ray is already bannable and the only reason ghosting isn't bannable because ghosting is very hard to catch, it will take hours of recording to have enough proof or evidence.

And for the /rules, they're busy it'll be eventually looked to or added based on people's interest.

And we shouldn't be informing staff to what they have to do they're already completely aware and trained and know how to deal with the situation and they do follow their procedures.

Well, you can post it either way if you want. There's a team that sorts through suggestions and reads through them all and decides what they think of them, so this might get more attention if it was put under there, yes. People can still express themselves in the post in suggestions, though it might get more feedback if posted under suggestions rather than here.

As for the actual post.
It's a very-well known fact that the rules are really unclear and it is many people's opinion that the staff isn't the best at doing their job.
Rules are general to encompass everything a player does wrong. If it was too specific, players can just claim that it's not in the rules and they'd be right. Just like pretty much every legal document, it's vague so that it can cover everything instead of scenario-based, so that staff can punish players when they clearly see them doing something wrong but the scenario isn't specifically in the rules. If you believe a staff member is not good at doing their job, or is doing something wrong, please make a staff abuse report.
The rules have no real place to be found inside the game (Murder) and they need to be re-written.
The reason the rules are not as enforced as in murder is because there are typically 5-8 people per murder game, and around over 100 in creative, so staff stick to moderating creative. If there are enough staff in creative, some will go to murder, but we can't moderate every single game so there's bound to be some rule breakers, and that's what forum user reports are for. Admittedly an anti-cheat and a better filter would be good. How so could we rewrite the rules though?
Also, this server consists of MANY italians and a simplified english version of the rules would also help.
A simplified version would most likely mean the rules wouldn't encompass everything and therefor would mean more people would complain of unfair punishments, when in fact what they were doing was wrong but not listed specifically in the rules.
Moreover, you do not mention which rules that are broken are bannable or not and it's a huge hustle filled with confusion for everyone.
Mentioning which rules can get you banned would reduce the players being banned for the right reasons, and increase the players breaking the rules because they know they won't be banned.
As previously mentioned in my old article not many people even know these rules exist and not many people would do /rules to see.
This is their own fault that they don't read the rules. They are there for people to look at, and it's their fault that they don't read them over. A tab for rules on the forums would be nice, but doing /rules is an easy way to find them.
Adding a rule book *as suggested 11 months ago -.-* wouldn't be hard AT ALL and letting people know the punishments will ALSO be helpful.
Not very useful. If a player asks about the rules, staff will say "do /rules to see the rules!". As well I think the command is listed by spawn (if not then that'd be useful).
I always knew that randoming is not bannable.
Randoming is against the rules.
When asking staff all I ever got was a message "We cannot share this information". It may be against the rules but how am I supposed to be convinced that I shouldn't do it.
If it's against the rules, you shouldn't do it. Simple as that. Rules are there for a reason and when you break them you'll be punished.
It comes under the "Do not play against your own team" rule, found here:
  • Do not play against your own team » There are teams for a reason. Finding ways around the system to play against your own team is not allowed.
Secondly, I won't talk that much about staff but specifically about communication in between them. For years staff were also unaware about the rules that much. I am sure if you ask some helpers at least the 10% of them might not know a rule exactly and there is really a big difference in the way staff act. Staff do communicate well, if we have a question about a particular word and such there are always places to ask. We don't make an exact list of what words are allowed and what are not, and if you feel you have been incorrectly punished that's what appeals are for. Staff come from different backgrounds and therefor interpret words differently. If you feel that the answer to your appeal is incorrect, you may always create a staff abuse report (same goes for if they don't punish you). There is a plan and guidelines, but these don't include every single word used because that would be time-consuming and useless.
Lastly, concerning Xray and Ghosting. It is my belief that both should be bannable.
XRay is not allowed, it's listed under the approved and banned mods.
Ghosting is hard to punish for and determine. It's most often over a skype or discord call, which we can't get evidence on.

Give everyone their perks back (hats, gadgets etc).
These perks are used towards goodie bags, but giving players more perks instead would be good.

The rules are written formally and hard to read for some foreigners/young audiences.
They are written formally to encompass almost every scenario so that players can't complain that they were punished incorrectly because it doesn't say it on the rules.

You should inform staff the proceedures they need to follow before muting/banning anyone.
We already do this. There are multiple things to introduce helpers to punishments and such as well as specific guidelines, however staff are trusted to use their own judgement for things not listed. If it's something completely outrageous, make a staff abuse report.

Xray and Ghosting becomes bannable. - Staff and players' lives become way easier.
XRay already isn't allowed.
Banning players for ghosting wouldn't make our lives easier, it would make it harder as there is no good way to get evidence for it. If we can't get evidence we can't punish them.
