If you want to see my first suggestion for 'Baby Blocks', click here

Okay, so I made a suggestion for 'Baby Blocks' back around May, and it's gone a bit cold. It also had a few questions which is why I'm here, making an updated suggestion of it to hopefully answer those questions and clear this game up.

A NEW GAME HAS BEEN ADDED, FIND THE GREEN TITLE FOR INFORMATION!

Playing the game:
This is an Arcade game, so there will be 8 mini-games in total. Each mini-game will be held in a baby block. Each mini-game will last around 2 minutes. In every mini-game, the top 3 winners will earn points. Whoever came first in a minigame earns 3 points, then whoever came second earns 2 points, and whoever came third earns 1 point. Then, at the end of the game, everyone's points are added together, giving them a final score. The person with the most amount of point will win 'Baby Blocks. In 'Baby Blocks', there will be 8-12 players.

Mini-games:

Quiz; On my other suggestion, I suggested a quiz as a short mini-game. With this, I had a couple of problems. If the quiz was about PartyZone, some people may not know the answers as they may only come on PartyZone for the games, and if it was just about general knowledge, it would either be too hard for the younger players, or too easy for the older players. I personally do like the quiz idea, so to make it a little bit more fair on all players, when a question has been asked, each player will have a selection of 3 answers to choose from. I do still see this a bit unfair for those who are older who may know the answers, but I don't really see a fair way for everyone to answer the questions without making it too tricky. I still haven't decided what the topic the questions will be based on, so if you have any suggestions, just suggest them.

Four corners; This mini-game was actually inspired by @Sweetay 's game plot. If you don't know how 'Four Corners' works, there are 4 different colours in the corners of the room (Ex: red, yellow, green and blue). All players must run around the room whilst the music is playing. (There will be a sign at the top of the screen telling you when the music is playing and when it has stopped). Then, once the music has stopped, the players have 5 seconds to run to any corner of their choice. Then, a random colour will be chosen. Whichever colour was chosen, those players standing on will be out! 'What if a player decides to stay in the corner of the room?' The colours will only appear in the corner once the music has stopped, and every round, the colours will change corners. 'What if a player keeps running to different colours and can't decide which one to stay on?' If a player keeps running to different corners, and ends up not on a corner by the time their 5 seconds is up, they will automatically be teleported to the last colour they stood on. If they didn't stand on any corner, they will be out.

Sumo Slap; Now this game I am not 100% sure will be good but I'll add it in for now. I have seen this game on another server, however I have adding some slight changes. Each player will have a different coloured chest plate (Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Cyan, Lime, Green, Purple, Magenta, Pink, White and Black.) Each player will be given a dye of their colour (Ex: If I was black, I'd be given the ink sack). The aim of the game is to hit the players off, using their dye. Every time you hit a player off, you earn 2 points, however, once you get hit off, you get a point taken away from you, and that other player earns 2 points. Halfway through the game, the players get a chance to grab a powerup, these powerups could either be an advantage for them, or a curse.
Advantages: Jump boost, speed, anti-knockback and invisibility.
Curses: Slowness, nausea, blindness and poison.

Each powerup will last 15 seconds.

Caught Red-Handed;
This game was suggested by @Sweetay, but I have changed some bits. This game is very similar to 'Heads Down, Thumbs Up'. For those who don't know what that is, basically some people put there heads down and thumbs up. Then some other people push someone's thumbs down. Once everyone has done that, those people must guess which person pushed their thumbs down. This version is slightly different. Depending on the amount of people in the game, (8-12), there will be 4/6 thieves and 4/6 victims. The thieves' job is to steal the victims' apple, which will be hung above the victim, on a tree. Each thief will have a different coloured hat. "How will the thief get the apples?" They will all start behind bars, then once the victims' screens has turned black, the thieves will parkour their way to any apple tree and get the apple. "How long will they get" The thieves will get roughly 2 minutes to get an apple, as soon they grab it, that thief gets 30 seconds to get back behind their bars, because as soon as they have the apple, the victim's screen will be visible after the 30 seconds. (Parkour won't be needed when running back). Once the two minutes are up, all the victims will be given 4/6 different coloured wool. Their job is to right click the coloured wool they thought took their apple.

Colour Run;
Colour Run is a maze game. All the players will spawn at the same end of the maze, there will be a 5 second delay before the barriers in front of them are raised up, allowing them to run into the maze. Each player will also be given a map, but they will not be allowed to see other players. They can run wherever they like, but, once they're in the maze, they will have 10 seconds before a message pops up (ex: Quick! Run to colour Red!) Once that message has popped up (either in the middle of the screen or at the top), the players must find the red square on the map and run to it in the maze. Everyone will get 20 seconds to find the colour. The last person to reach the colour/the person furthest away from the colour will be out! There will be 7 rounds/7 colours to run to, and each round, a player will be eliminated. The top 3 players each get points (3rd - 1 point, 2nd - 2 points, 1st - 3 points.)

Musical Minecarts
This mini game isn't very original, but it is a lot of fun. I made a mini game plot a very long time ago, and this is a game I added to it. The problem I had with this game was lag, which is why I go rid of it. But I really enjoy this game and I think it would be a great addition to the whole game in general. It's basically musical chairs, but instead we'll be sitting in minecarts. For those who don't know how to play, there will be 8-12 minecarts for the first round (because there will be 8-12 players) and there will be music playing in the background. The players will run around an empty dance floor, and after the 10 second countdown, 8-12 minecarts will rain down from the sky randomly. Once the minecarts has landed, all players must quickly run to a minecart and sit in it. Everyone will get a maximum of 8-10 seconds (depending on how big the dance floor is) to run to a minecart. Once everyone is in a minecart, they will disappear, and the next round will start, but this time, one minecart will be removed. This will continue to happen until there is 1 player left. If you don't get into a minecart by the time is out/if there are no minecarts left, you are out and you will be teleported to the sky, allowing you to watch the rest of the players play. Again, as some players may not want to/may not have volume on their minecraft, there will be a message at the top of the screen eg: "Music: 10 seconds...9 seconds etc" so you can play without turning up your volume.

[NEW]
Pattern Panic;
This mini game is where you must remember the sequence of the coloured lights that will light up in front you. Each player will stand in a black box and in front of them will be a wall with 9 different colours and a button on each colour (wool). When the game begins, a colour will be removed, and behind it will be a glow stone block / sea lantern block. That block will then be removed after 3-5 seconds of it being shown. Then, the player must press the button in the colour they think was removed. If they get it right, the block will be removed and the glow stone / sea lantern block will show behind it, but if they are wrong, a red stone block will appear behind it. After the first colour has been shown and the player has pressed a button, another block will be removed, then that player must press the buttons of the first two colours they saw get removed in ORDER. This will be continued after the time has run out. Every time they get the right answer, 1 point will be added to their score, and if they get one wrong, they won’t get a point added. To make sure no one memorises the patterns, it will be randomised every time a player plays this mini game.

Design:
The design hasn't changed, but I'll remind you. Each mini-game will be held in a baby block. The first mini-game will be in a red baby block, labelled 'A', then the next mini-game will be in a orange baby block, labelled 'B', and so on until the eighth block, which will be pink, and labelled 'H'. If you wish to see what the blocks will look like, they are in my other suggestion, which you can find at the top of this thread.

These are the only ideas I have now, if you have any questions about these mini-games or anything to add, please feel free to suggest them.

I honestly think this should get implemented, it's a mix of lots of minigames that are too small to be its own party game and i feel this would bring a lot of new players to the server!

+1

I think it's a very original idea and the little changes made it even better!

You've seen my opinion on the old thread c:

I loved it before, but now it's better! Great job!
Thankyou!:)

I honestly do like the idea.
But I don't think it's such a great game to be a huge game like Murder.
----
I still believe that (in my opinion) it's more of a Party Game.
Just like Murder had massacre. This is what Baby Blocks should be. A game mode for Party G.
---
A party game where 8 random mini games (Ditto, Freezetag, Quiz, Sumo Slap, Four corners etc.) are chosen and the goals stay the same.
So basically players won't get bored with having only 8 mini games to play in BB.
---
Again, this is my opinion and I do prefer this updated version as it's more clearer on what the actual goal is.

Overall, I'd say +1.

I think it is smaller than a normal game, but a little too big for a party game. Maybe classified as a party game, but give it its own room in the party games lobby?

He meant that he'd like what Massacre was to Murder to be like what Baby Blocks can be to Party Games. A playlist.

I was thinking for a mini-game we could do Heads up, 7 up?

Here's how it works:
Everyone is blinded and not able to use F5 (if possible, if not then this couldn't be implemented due to cheating.) There are 4 players who will chose 4 blinded players to guess who tinted their screen purple. Until there's a little bell sound and all 4 chosen players have finished. The players who had been blinded are unblinded and the entire chat will be muted unless your screen was tinted purple.

If your screen was purple, you guess who made your screen tinted.
If you get it right you get 3 points.
And then it goes on.

I'm not completely sure about this one. If someone can explain it better than that would be great because I'm not as quite as good as explaining this game :)

Just make the whole screen black since F5 can't be changed.

sorry sweetay I put disagree instead of heart

For 4 Corners. Wouldn't it be better to add an indication ON SCREEN so they know when music is playing and when to get onto a corner because I know some people (Like myself) like to play without mc sounds on.

I also play without music, so this would actually come in handy, thanks!

I have added in another mini game suggestion, thankyou for the idea @Sweetay.
