The smoke rose above the boiling lava, a thick blanket of clouds covered the entire sky, every tree was burnt into ashes- wait, how did we get here??
*1 month earlier*
"Meepy! Why are my school papers all shredded?!" MMG yelled from her room.
"Uhh....i don't know...maybe the dog did it!" Meepy yelled back.
"Meepy if you don't tell me what happened then...then...then...I'll tell Dizzeh!" MMG slammed her door shut. Little shreds of paper were scattered all over her floor. Just when MMG was about to pick the the shreds, the doorbell rang from downstairs.
"I'll get it!" Meepy yelled. MMG ran down the stairs as fast as she could, her dog, Swag, following close behind. When Meepy opened the door, nobody was there.
"Ugh! Alvin! One of these days I'm going to get you!" MMG yelled out of the door.
"Whoa there, calm down, it's not like your school papers were shredded," Meepy said with a smirk. MMG gave her a glare, then closed the door.
*ding dong* *ding dong* Furious, MMG opened the door, but nobody was there. Meepy walked outside, then MMG followed.
"Nope, nobody. Not even muddy footprints, there should be some since it just rained," Meepy said. MMG nodded, then looked around once more, but nobody was there. She shrugged, then went back inside. Not five seconds after Meepy closed the door....
*ding dong* *ding dong* MMG was about to open the door again, when Meepy put her hand on her shoulder.
"Wait! The sound is coming from the back door!" She said. MMG slowly walked over to the back door, since the back door had three rectangular shaped windows at the top, she could see if someone was there, but nobody was. Meepy opened the door slowly, she saw a little package on the front step. MMG put her arm in front of Meepy, the package had a black string tied around it. She slowly began to pick the package up, it was heavy but small. There was no name or address on the package, it was just a heavy box with string tied around it. MMG closed the door, then placed the package on the table. Meepy was standing behind her, peeking from around her arm. MMG slowly untied the string, the box lid opened when the string was pulled off. Inside the box, was a small, black bag. MMG picked it up slowly, and pulled it open. Inside was a black and maroon stone. It gave off a black glow that felt strange.
"Meepy, call Dizzeh!" MMG whispered.
