Art Course Dump

Howdy!

I started taking an online art course, and I thought this would be the perfect place to dump all of my projects (and possibly just random stuff that I'm making to practice).

Let me know what you think! :]

This is the first project I've done with this course. I realized at the end that the eyelashes aren't very defined, and I didn't use a lot of contrast in the image, but that'll just be something I can figure out in my art software.

This next one is the second project - contour lines. The point is to look at a real object and draw it by looking at the object, not at the paper or screen. We're supposed to lift our pen as little as possible. (I also drew an animated eye because why not?)

Thanks! You're right, though - realism is kind of hard on digital... pressing harder on the pen only made the streak bigger, not actually making the color darker, like using a pencil on real paper.

k also added contour line practice. It looks bad but that's the point - look at the object, not the paper, while drawing.
