Do you need Skype to apply for Helper? I don't have Skype because of safety issues, so I decided not to apply unless I get the answer that I don't need Skype or I decide to get Skype anyway.

*I think* you need skype to quickly communicate with other staff members when you need them, but I've heard that @Caitlynnnn doesn't have skype and is a Helper, since I'm not sure I'm going to tag a mod.

You do need to have a Skype account. This is what it asks you:
Age: (at least 14) MC name, Skype Name (not display name), some scenarios 2 :3

A skype account is a very important feature that helpers should have. You don't necessarily need to speak to other staff members, but you need it so that you can easily be communicated with via message. A skype account heavily increases your chance of becoming helper.
As said, skype is required to apply for helper. We use skype to communicate between all the staff through messages, and you cannot apply without it.
