Idea
So the idea is practically a security question for applications, so it can be assured players are reading the requirements, and know what they’re getting themselves into.

Why?
I’ve noticed players applying for positions without fully understanding what is expected of them, and do not actually read the requirements. Generally these people get denied, but I myself have seen some of these people get accepted.
These people sometimes don’t meet full potential. Some others finally settle in, then may realize they do not want to carry on, as they weren’t fully aware of a certain requirement or expectation.
I’ve also seen people get removed from teams because they missed a requirement. Which got revealed quite late, due to not reading requirements, and for not being an obvious requirement.

Information
• The question would be a general question about the requirements.
• It would be implemented into each application. ( Helper, Discord Trainee, Builder, Insights and etcetera. )
• Not completely necessary, more of a small security question, to make sure players read the requirements, and meet full potential.

Example

It would be the last question on an application, and would look similar to this;

Of course wording would be different for each application, and the question would be entirely up to staff, this is just an example.

Cons
• People may not know how to answer the question.
• People may just skim over for the answer, to get the question over with.
• May result in a waste of time.

( I’ll add to this later, I wasn’t able to come up with other cons during the writing process of this. )

Pros
• Encourages players to read the requirements and meet their full potential.
• Gives validation someone has read the requirements, and is going to carry on with the process.
• It’ll most likely be more obvious, to staff, who has read the requirements and who has not.
• Gives players a better understanding of what the position is about, and what is expected of them.
• Gives staff even more insight to the players thought process of the position.
• People are not jumping into positions and suddenly realizing they are incapable of completing certain tasks due to personal reasons.

Ideas And Suggestions
So if you have any suggestions or ideas, write them down. I will add them if needed!

Credit to @unstinc for the idea.

I personally love this suggestion, and I don't feel the cons that are listed are a problem at all. The cons you had listed happen when adding any question to an application, and this would be no different. I'll be voting +1 for now, though I may change my opinion if there is a stronger opposing argument later on.

Build team application already does this in a way by asking who the build team leader is. Everything else could do with it though!

aw just noticed my credit ty

I love the idea to add this since many don't read the requirements and directly apply thinking it's alright, adding this will encourage them to read it and know what they're applying for, love the idea Jules! +1.

❤️ Yeah, it’d be a nice addition to help players when applying for anything really.

I really like this idea! We will definitely implement this, thank you for the suggestion!
