I have an unofficial PZ discord that I've been eager to advertise. Recently one of the staff on that discord was promoted to staff! (Kona) since it is now technically run partially by official PZ staff, does this mean I can advertise it?

No. Just because there is a staff member does not make it any more official than a Discord channel without a staff member. Before we consider publicy advertising a Discord for ourselves, we need more people to frequently use our forums and Teamspeak.
