Danganronpa is a visual novel style game about 15 talented highschoolers get trapped by an evil bear, and you have to kill to get out of the school.
Theres Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, which is the first game.
Theres Danganronpa: The Animation, which is a summary of the first game. Its not very good.
Theres Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, which is a sequel to the 1st Game/Anime. There is no anime for this game.
Then theres Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, which is basically the game in between 1 and 2, but major spoilers for 2.
Then theres Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy, which is the conclusion to this plot line. This is an anime. The anime is split into Future Side and Despair Side, and ends with Hope Arc. You switch sides to understand whats going on. You watch Future 1, Despair 1, Future 2, Despair 2, etc, until you get to Future 12, where then you watch Hope Arc.
On September 26th, Danganronpa v3: Killing Harmony comes out in English. It takes place in a completely different time line to 1-3.
