how can it be used for farming? i dont know about this so just curious. i agree though, this isnt very useful other than to get feedback on posts literally like this one (should implement, dont implement).

I don't think they can change these between specific forums.
Anyways, staff has to check the questions so any farming is generally caught.

Generally, ratings in questions are used to show someone likes/loves your question, and maybe they're wondering the same thing too - they may rate it something positive to show that they're happy someone asked that question. Also, it can be used to show whether people like the staff members answer, it's nice to see people liking our answers because it shows we answered it fully and helped them.
Personally, I think they should stay.

It can be, I dont feel like going into an example right now, but if you want one just message me.

Fairly stated, although PMing someone or posting on someone's profile would achieve the same thing.

To be honest, I think PMing is a hassle and unnecessary.

I stand in the middle. I think the I Agree and I Disagree ratings should be there, and the others removed. It makes more sense rather than like or love, considering the context.
+1 if it's this, but I stand +0 for now

Whilst that is true it's quicker to do so with a click of a button - I'd prefer liking someone's question/answer to the question than starting a conversation with them just to say "Good question/answer!". I can only assume others feel that way too.
